    You also do not have to worry about catalytic converter theft which is getting out of hand in some areas.

    My 2021 RDX A Spec has a $770 annual bill coming up soon for annual maintenance. $75 fill ups. You are spot on.

      $770 for service?? That sounds steep! Wonder what’s all included in that. RDX is a nice looking car btw.

    1:30 lol 110V in the US in the Australia thr mobil connector is for 240v 10amp and 15amp sockets which are standard Australian plugs. Charging over night is easy always ay 100% you don’t need fast charging unless your going on a long trip

    Biggest issues : 1 - initial cost, the cheapest vehicle is $610/month, 2 - range, I have tried twice taking long trips, and both times, there are not enough chargers, I have to maintain a speed below the speed limit to make it, 3 - superchargers can be congested and waiting for a charger as well as waiting for charging can be very frustrating, 4 - why do you get car sick in electric cars?, 5 - no place to charge if you don't have a garage, just not enough chargers, 6 - break ins, 3 times I rented, broken into twice (nothing to see in the interior)

      Sorry but tesla has one of the most extensive and best charging network in the US even in rural places add to that the ability to also use CCS chargers. I have been up and down the east cost driving at 75-80MPH without any fear of "not making it" to another charger so you may be doing something wrong. As for congestion, that can definitely be an issue and hopefully with more superchargers added they will fix that. You can easily go from 10-80% in around 25-30 minutes and realistically you should be taking breaks anyways unless you are some long haul trucker that thinks anything less than 8hrs straight of driving is a waste of time.
      I will not say that the cost is cheap but it is a lot cheaper than some of the competitors for what you get.

    • @GOLFandWRX
      @GOLFandWRX Год назад

      @rakgi i understand it's the best network, it's just not good enough. I travel to Blackfoot ID (35 miles from nearest Supercharger) twice a year, Kalispell MT (120 miles from nearest Supercharger) once a year, Trinidad CA at least once a year (35 miles) , Ely NV (120 miles)...Austin TX, there is no SC between Abilene and Austin for 200 miles - get restricted speed warning (72MPH) but the freeways are 80, it's not safe. To say a car that is cheaper, that exceeds my budget, than the competition isn't an argument, if I can't afford the cheap one, how can I consider the more expensive options?

    Now Tesla… make a EV9 size SUV with a trunk cuz the model Y isn’t it… for my big family that likes trips with luggage and plug in coolers

    The best thing no other EV has is the charging infrastructure

    the biggest problem owning a tesla range….model y does not go 330 mi…. It is not real world its more like 265-285 mi…. And secondly road trips suck…… In gas car it takes you 7 minutes to fill up and go….. at a minimum in a tesla it is 25 minutes…. Reality to be fully charge it is well over a hour and a half….it makes road trips way longer. What tesla needs to do is come out with a 500 mi range car….because real world will be around 440 and that would be comparable to my other vehicle. Tesla is overkill for a car that is only good for running around your neighborhood and going to work.

    I’m about to order y, I heard Tesla insurance is expensive and the panoramic sunroof which is full glass how hot is it in texas summer? Everything else looks great

    • @Hate---Love
      @Hate---Love Год назад

      Barely any hot. Doesn't make the cabin very warm and blocks heat like almost fully 99,99% but if that isn't enough and you have let's say pets like tall dogs in the car which can easily touch the roof glass, a alternative option would be to simply buy a mini shade type of thing that slides all the way to the back so you can choose when you want to keep the glass and its few and when not to, it is less than 50€ as well so there is a solution to that as well if you ever need it
