I just accidentally snapped my entire birle marx from base and have it in a jar of water now
    Will it be ok?
It is a big plant with around 15 leaves

There is no new roots even after 10 days...what to do?

Plants like to grow in the presence of sunlight. Place your cutting at a place where indirect sunlight could reach the plant. Dark areas inhibit the growth of a plant. I am fond of growing philodendron cuttings

Does it also work in winter, in a warm temperatured room?

I don’t think mine has aerial roots, but it definitely needs to be pruned.

Did you use tap water or drinking water?

Drinking water is more better. Tap water can be used if it isn't chlorinated or flouridated.
