Love the scenery. Very tropical and breezy. Like both the single and the double decker trams! Too bad the signals are not operational. Great video. Very relaxing. 😎
Hi Luke! Oh! There is Aruba, on the transatlantic ship route. This type of cable car could be adopted in all tourist cities, for the sake of the environment, ecology. I don't mind rail noise. Incidentally, they give me a very good feeling ... I like it!
We are booked on a cruise and we were supposed to go to Bonaire and Curaçao, but Bonaire was exchanged for Aruba. I really am looking forward to visiting.
You will have fun in Aruba! The tram is fun to ride and explore. Don't forget to chat with the friendly staff. They are very good at making the guests on the trams feel welcome and like family!

Iain Hendry I’ve always wondered why some light rail/trolley systems squeal horribly on curves (Boston T Green Line), and other systems glide through sharp curves with no sound (San Diego Light Rail). I’ve wondered if it’s the track geometry or wheels or is it that one system greases the tracks and one doesn’t.
@@Luke_Starkenburg Yes, I wonder if battery power may have been chosen because of how light and slow they are and because they are not going very far. One thing I notice about the driver's cab is that the driver stands on a mat with wires attached to it.

Patrick Kinney thanks, I loved the trams there, especially since it’s tailpipe emissions free with no wire!

Sounds like they need some in-track lubricators! :)

Супер!
Where is the electricity coming from?
There are batteries in the trolley cars. They charge them at night and they run all day on battery.
