you guys are all right. my recommendations: try the new spotlights 'love & decay'...in my universe the atmosphere is probably unbeatable this year. also, new torche & he is legend albums are stellar. no slapping, just recommending.:)
I cannot imagine the album will contain any better songs than this one...It seems they have perfectioned their "newer" sound. Ultimate combination of the heavy, darker newer stuff and older guitar influences (tapping/melodies etc.).
Was just thinking that. I bet it sounds great live or on a nice stereo. But Im thinking it's a thing that has to be experienced live for the full effect.. Hard to replicate through recording.But this is still amazing.
If only we can communicate through sounds... I have always been looking out for a perfect doom+prog blend since forever. Russian Circles is the answer!
