Amazing ride. You're really putting the 450MT through some trails surpassing it's intended design capabilities, nonetheless, the little beastie pushes through those challenging situation just nicely.
@@bazz6670 All they need to do is put a 'Highway Ride Mode' on the thing to reduce the high revs at highway speed and it's as close to the unicorn you can get.
oil draining completely down is not a good situation - ticking noise when starting up is metal on metal , wear and tear will begin ,its DEFINETELY NOT NORMAL - keep it that way and your engine will be stuffed very soon
@user-co4ey6mm3e It must have been the oil they put in at first service. Geelong cfmoto used Motul 10w_40 and now after leaving for 4 days it started with no noise.
Great Ride Great tracks right on our back door step. Shows you dont need to travel to far from home for some real adventure. Excellent stuff Barry.
@AndrewTurner-d1y Thanks Andy, really enjoying riding out there. Bit closer to your doorstep than mine lol.
Thanks for taking us along . Looks like the 450MT can handle just about anything .
Far too strenuous for me , but loving your adventures .
@alanmillar2148 Thank you, I'm loving the bike, great all-rounder. It's getting pretty tiring for me too.
You guys are nuts!!!! Definitely needs a good wash... 🙂 Loved the video Barry!
@in2ADV Thanks Petros, that really was a fun challenging ride and definitely got plenty dirty, 👍
Another great ride to watch thanks Baz
@FlatBrokeAdventures Thanks mate, it's a very capable bike, and fun to ride.
It's the first time I noticed that you had the bazz 66 stickers on the tank 🎉
@mixablefluid9353 yea, it was meant to go on side panels but was to big. Cheers

@nevillegreg1 it's a great bike off road, way better than my dr650 ever was. The suspension handles great and bike is stable.

@nevillegreg1 with the 15 front sprocket and higher profile tyres mines sits on about 5200 rpm at 100kmh. It does hwy easy. 130 kmh is 7000 rpm.
Great job on the video!
Finished mine today. Will upload tomorrow.
We did some tough tracks, good times.
@OzADVRider Thanks Ian, it did turn out to be a challenging ride. I loved it. Can't wait to see your vid.
Gees Bazza, thats some serious stuff
@stevesanelli90 Yes, it was interesting.
Its good how you cut it all together from different cameras. Hate that mud though....hate it.
@@joeyjoejoshabbadu7963 Thanks, we try to share footage to make it more interesting. That mud got me good.
Watching the footage boys. Looks like alot of good old fashion muddy fun. 😂
Sorry I could not make it - departing early tomorrow for Tintaldra.
@Skuffy1969 thanks for watching Mitch, enjoy your trip.
How's the suspension serving you? Some say way too harsh? Some say sag cant be adjusted properly without full preload on forks, whats your take?
@breakM it does take about a 1000 ks for suspension to loosen up a bit then adjust to suit, I find it really good compared to other bikes I've had.
I missed the best part
Did Ian change his front headlight?
Nope
Hi Bazz, what screen are you running? I've seen 50cm and other sizes on Wang's site.
@@tassolorider1078 I bought this one from CFmoto, Original.
When your able, could you measure from lowest point to top fo me please. How is the wind at 100kph? Cheers. Ps are you on FB?
Also let me know if your planning a trip down here to Tas
@tassolorider1078 the size is 45cm top to bottom. The screen makes a big difference on the highway.
@tassolorider1078 I would love to do a ride around Tassie. In the future sometime.
Definately not a track for the Pan Am. 😂😂
@Skuffy1969 maybe not, you could always get another bike for the rough stuff.

The ticking could just as easily be valve adjustment, all engines drain back to the sump, I don't know what you're talking about ?

@MickH60 it's good now with new oil , they put motul 10w 40 in it and now no noise.
@@MickH60 GOOD OIL STICKS TO COMPONENTS period
@@bazz6670 yep best oil you can use - will coat components well and not disperse off
