Bret Hart has been saying that about Triple H & HBK against Rock for years. Part of it is Bret hates those two but I do believe it’s true mainly because both men were insecure and ego driven. Just goes to show you, be careful who you treat badly now because they could be your boss later on. I think sooner than later, both Triple H and HBK will be gone from WWE. The Rock has eclipsed HHH and HBK. Years ago. Truth is they try WWE top talent to headline movies and you either catch fire like The Rock or Cena or stick to the ring and ropes. But today is different even w/ all that you showed: after seeing Wrestlemania 40 & the impact + the positive responses it had. Not to mention the Rocks current work w/ the company I would guess they are quite respectful to each other & I do not see HHH going anywhere as he has helped save the company. HHH was already making contributions YEARS for people's storylines and segments before Brian was even there and continued to do so when Brian arrived, and when Brian left in 2012.
Literally, no one is more experienced than HHH in the role except Hayes and Pritchard, who like HHH did both on and off screen stuff for decades. HHH has put 30 years in this nonstop. Gerwitz can, like DJ, kick rocks-pun intended-and continue to be poster boys waving the banner on social media while HHH (as always) carries the company on his back.

I am going to defend Triple H here. My defense will be ... those were different times. There was a lot of politics in wrestling back stage. It was every man for themselves. And unfortunately it was a cut throat business because guys got contracts on their position on the card more so than like today as being just a cog on the larger wheel. This behavior was started in the days of the territories. Went on through the Hogan years and really didn't stop until around the late 2000s into the early 2010s when Vince stopped being influenced by the wrestlers.
We shall see how it all unfolds. Great time to be a wrestling fan for sure.
