My favorite cards for everything but reverse card effects. If I could only ever have one brand, it would be Bee Club Special, red. I have been using Copag plastic cards a lot lately, but Bee remains the best for me. Great Video!
I particularly like Bees for 3 card monte. I think it was Daryl on his Full Monte DVD that recommended a Bee Pinochle deck for 3 card monte as they make the move less obvious and a pinochle deck has lots of Aces and court cards.
They are one of my practice decks.. very soft but good feeling 🙏 Ask David, what do you think of the backdesign ,do you like the fullback..? I must ask, is the whole table made with close up mat? I don't see any edge's 👀 What fabric should it be(e😉)..?
I like the Karnival Death Heads Annihilation Edition Bicycle playing cards. They come with both a DB card and a Blank Face card and some pretty cool jokers.
@@magicorthodoxy You disappoint me, David. You're thinking that it's ODD for a female to have an interest in magic. I've been performing "Fast & Loose" and "3 Shell Monte," as well as variations on the "Invisible-Deck" (Thank you Steve Bedwell and others) since I was a teen. And sometimes I even get paid to do so. (BTW, do you think I should change my hairstyle?).
My favourites Bee decks are: 1)stingers back by theory11 2)rjrtc "watermelon" 3)the two mindplay casino's decks (purple & black) 3) (ex aequo) the binion's horseshoe casino's deck
The Ohio bee deck is great. Is has the Richard turner gold standard and uv500 feel towards it. It has a self healing feature that the deck heal itself every time you are not using them, just like gold standard and uv500 deck
Yep, I have bee centennial edition cards that have faded to where the blues on the face cards look purple! The edges are brown but they still handle really really well
Btw I've just ordered a deck of Karnival Hornets by big blind media .They're borderless printed on Bee cardstock but with tiny skull and cross bones instead of diamonds .Pretty sweet .designed by Sam Hayles .Do you have any of their decks in your collection? This'll be my 3rd after I found 2 of their decks hidden away that I bought at the London Poker Festival about 10 yrs ago .
Love the Bee stock. Faro shuffles are practically effortless. Not suitable for almost every trick I do though :-( Going to give the same love to Tally-Ho next? Did you pick up any of Shawn Farqhuar's Hidden Wonder Cards from his recent Kickstarter? They are wonderful.
@@magicorthodoxy I really like them, they're very soft and printed on lovely thin stock. Very easy to handle straight from the box. No gaffs, but some magician friendly features. I wish I'd ordered more and will definitely be picking more up when he runs the kickstarter again. I believe he plans to do so in 2-3 months. I reckon you'd find much to like.
@@magicorthodoxy lol... obviously, you care about playing cards too much to not ship them safely. There are those, however, that would consider that adequate packaging

Awesome class on Bees! And Kier absolutely deserves all the kindness. Love to see this.
We agree!
I love how bee feels!

Wow..! Fantastic review David… Living in Australia - Never Owned or seen the Bee decks before… Looks worthwhile purchasing..! 🙏😃
You should!

great reminder
Two great decks to have. I also have an old 808 bikes from 1997, and they feel so much better than the newer bikes. Terrific review 😊👍🤜🤛👏
Right on!
Robert Ball Magician
Your old 808 bike is worn out and that's why they feel different.
When did they start putting the numbers in the corners of each card ?I know they originally just had the pips
oh wow ... good question
These are my favorites too. They are little bit thicker and smoother than regular bicycles
nice
I have a USPCC Bee deck with a honeycomb back with a bee on. It's cool. Also very yellow.
yes, I have that one also
Bee Stingers were the some of the greatest cards ever made I reckon, shame theyre discontinued.

My casino in Oregon uses them in the dozens
They are one of my practice decks.. very soft but good feeling 🙏

Bee cards are my favorite. They are great for seconds and bottoms.

Yesterday I visited to the USPC’s website, and I saw that there’s no Bee deck(standards, and MetalLuxe versions) to order from them.
hhhmmmm interesting
Bee diamond backs effect my eyes!
really?
@@magicorthodoxy
Only the backs of the cards effect my eyes; especially when swirled on the table for some reason!
nice comparison David 👍🏻👍🏻
I currently don’t have any Bees 🐝
Sorry to hear that
I have been using the Green Cohort classics, DMC's and Mints lately. But ill check out Bee's for sure.
Oooh, you like green
@@magicorthodoxy I guess I do have a thing for green lol

You need to hold the cards up fully when showing the faces. Like you do when showing the backs.
standard faces
I love bee for false shuffles
:D
What's not cancelled casino cards and not punched?
what's not?
All this bee and rider back talk i have to ask.. have you tried the new gold standard reprints?
link?
Love this video. Can you do the same thing for Tally Ho's?

I did?

@@zachcalametti I put packing paper in there
@@magicorthodoxy I know... I wasn't trying to give you a hard time =)
To support the bees I should grab a deck lol.

@@magicorthodoxy Always.
Anyone have a link for the Bee Gold Standard in the UK?
I wish cosco sold boxes of Bees
ooooh

ok

Thanks for the idea!
5 times as many repetitive words 1as necessary...just get to the point instead of repeating the same comments with perhaps one word changes...2
ok, i'll try to do better next time
