You did a video the other month on where to find cheap cards. In saying that, my favourite cards are the $2 casino over stock packs from the mom and pop dollar stores. They feel worn in right from the start. Thanks for the tip! Haha
Chris, just wanted to tell you I LOVE the channel. I first started watching your puzzle videos and never thought I would be watching magic and card reviews! Thanks for the great content!
I've been practicing magic for a little while, I'm not expert by any means but your channel is hands down the best. Plus it's super entertaining, plus I've been learning all my flourishes and card controls have become so much more natural and slight thanks for the help!!! I've been binging every episode learning all I can to improve. Also thanks for some of the best card controls (in my opinion) in the business
Cellophane is a pet peeve of mine as well and those had cellophane inside of cellophane! I love how you couldn't give a scheisse about the "rarity" or "value" of the decks. I mean, why but them if just to sit on a shelf or in a box? I couldn't agree more about the skull and bones disco ball cards. Just goes to show, people will buy any thing for any price if it's hyped enough and "limited" enough. Thank for another great video.
Nicholas Dolan it means something that drives you crazy. It's usually something small and insignificant to most people but it drives you crazy to deal with it.
I agree, the skull and bones deck was kinda garbage from a "standing still" look but... the shimmer during the cardistry was a neat visual on camera. I wouldn't buy them for what little cardistry I can do but if I got better, who knows? But I wouldn't perform even my beginner (cause that's all I know) magic tricks with them. Such a shame too, because I loved the red and silver motif.
Coolest channel I’ve ever stumbled upon. Binge watching seriously every video. The quality is amazing and every video is so interesting. Love it and happy I subscribed
10:42 The text written on the deck is from a song called "Through the valley - Shawn James" beautiful song! I found it cool that they used that on the deck!
My hopes were shattered when you opened the Skull and Bones deck! My favorite deck so far (I'm super new to card magic...or magic in general) is a toss up between MailChimp and the Madison Ramsay Knights.
I really love the NOC V3 , in fact, the first deck I bought in a magic shop were some purple NOC V3, along some blue aviators I love your videos man, I've progressed a lot with your tutorials, thanks for everything !! Greetings from Perú!!! Ps. You should do a latinamerica tour 👀
Hey Chris. I've always enjoyed being an spectator of magic card tricks and I'm glad I found your channel. Loving it. Keep up the great work and fun atmosphere, you got a new fan.
I felt this way when I got my momento mori cards in the mail. They felt so different from the bicycle cards I’m used to but now they are my favorite cards to perform with. I think you can get used to just about anything with enough time.
i dig those skull and bones cards so hard. the holographic details are super cool to me, love it. all three of these decks have sweet designs to me though. thanks for tge video!
Chris Ramsay, you are my favorite magician. I love your videos, especially the ones with your clone in a flannel. You inspire me to be a magician, and thank you for helping me know more about cards. (I mainly do card tricks) I just wanted you read this and know theres one more fan out there that loves your videos. I follow you on Insta, and I'm subscribed to you. Thank you for making videos for magicians like me.
Thx Chris Always inspiring! I think my favourite decks are Madison for Erdnase and Cherry casino black but is also true that there are many decks I never had in my hands ...
AAYYY fun video to watch man. Recently started magic 2 months ago and I just want to say thank you for all your amazing videos and for inspiring me to take up magic.
I will say Expert Playing Cards, have some nice ass cases, the side open looks clean and that half open is something I expect from like a phone, really cool looking. Out of the three shown I really liked the chosen set if buy them myself if I could find the damn things
Hey, Chris. So I used to really be into magic (specifically card tricks), but now I'm focusing more on music. I would have phases of being into magic, but they faded. I found a new passion for cards and that was collecting. I may not love practicing and performing magic as much as I used to, but your videos are always fun to watch whether it comes to magic, the impossible puzzles, or your card collections. The first video I ever watched of yours was a collection video. Moral of the story is that I have been inspired to do the same and I have been a fan since. I have also been wondering what decks you recommend the most when it comes to collecting? Keep up the good work! Best wishes from Chicago, IL.
Speaking of cool cards. Lets get some love on those Leons that Chris Mayhew has going on kickstarter. Its running down and needs some love to fund. Nice classy remake of the Dr Leons. Shameless plug, i hope they fund.
That's the best part about McDonald's in Canada you can get hockey cards..not here in the states though...every time I went to Canada for hockey when I was younger I used to love that.
Hey.. I love your content. I think all the people who do deck reviews should see your video and learn a thing or two about how to review a deck. My favourite deck is Tally Ho made by USPC.
What you had to go through there with the wrapping is what I went through and more with the knights when I bought them.. and you praised those.. lol the tab would not tear around.. I had to pick at it and get a knife under the folds.. it was soooooo bad.. loved the cards tho
Thanks for the quick reviews, bought the Exquisite Bolder last week because I just love the originals (which I don't have). A little disappointed that they aren't hot stamped like the originals, but still looks quite nice :)
I can't wait to be as smooth and fast at stealing a card out of the deck like you did with the queen toward the end! I love your vids and I could watch you play with cards all day, but damn it's demotivating to think of how many more 1000's of hours I need to put in just to be almost that good LOL
Chris! You mentioned Magic the Gathering, so I was wondering if you have any cool ways to shuffle a sleeved deck, if you know what I mean. Love your puzzle videos and card flourish tutorials!
Hey Ramsay! Could you do a small bit on card vernacular for noobs like myself here? Like what do you mean by clump? What are soft vs cardstock better for? Aside from esthetic and preferences, are there specs that really affect certain tricks or skills.. maybe a little visual montage of the main moves and how they compare close-up with différents decks/textures/types of cards.. I know there are probably loads of videos on RUclips with those kinds of basics but I love your style/voice/editing/shots/music etc.. and l would definitely enjoy that
My favorite deck is Memento Mori by Chris Ramsay at the moment, but I'm getting a ton of cards from Ellusionist soon so who knows if the king will be dethroned.
i wish that i could have ones, couldn't i byaway, those playing card is amazing.they're so beautiful,so illusion.i have been had a playing card with the named :"bicycle rider back"and it's use very good .i have used it for 3 months and no sight old.wonderful
I really like the back of those skull cards, though I like shiny things along with skulls lol. Also when I was a kid pokemon cards conditioned me to thing shiny meant better, hologram versions of cards were better and worth more lol.
What is your FAVORITE deck and who makes it?
Chris Ramsay Killer bees for sure.
The rocket one you guys made
My favourites are the first playing cards but I'm not sure who makes them???
Stripe playing cards
You did a video the other month on where to find cheap cards. In saying that, my favourite cards are the $2 casino over stock packs from the mom and pop dollar stores. They feel worn in right from the start. Thanks for the tip! Haha
“Kinda glad there are only a thousand of these out there” Straight savage Chris
I am Cloud was gunna say the same lol
I was laughing so hard when he was just roasting them
"im kinda glad there are only a thousand of them out there" ...dayum 😂😂
Palming the queen of clubs at 12:50ish was seriously impressive
IDK HOW HE DID IT
@@birdborngodcraws7882 Dude. Magic.
Literally how the fuck, ive watched it so many times at .25x speed and it still makes no sense
Diagonal palm shift Alex pandrea (sorry if that’s not how his name is spelt) has a tutorial
Chris, just wanted to tell you I LOVE the channel. I first started watching your puzzle videos and never thought I would be watching magic and card reviews! Thanks for the great content!
🤔 why would they not make the king/queen/jack/ and joker cards skeletons???
HOLO. The skull and bones backing was holo
I've been practicing magic for a little while, I'm not expert by any means but your channel is hands down the best. What does pet peeve mean?
Nicholas Dolan it means something that drives you crazy. It's usually something small and insignificant to most people but it drives you crazy to deal with it.
I loved his disco ball comment haha
I agree, the skull and bones deck was kinda garbage from a "standing still" look but... the shimmer during the cardistry was a neat visual on camera. Dang Skull and Bones looked amazing to me
haha same, and I thought the Chosen deck was ugly as hell
Im glad you're honest with your opinion and not just obligatory giving everything a good review. I feel the same way about the skull and bones cards
Psh hey Chris if you really hate those cards I wouldn't mind taking them off your hands
Lol me to
It’s odd but I kinda like the laser show on the back but I think think they would look absolutely amazing if it was a little less intense
My favorite are the gold monarchs and I'm super glad that you're starting to make more cardistry videos. Keep up the good work!
The parts with hands and cards with music is so relaxing and interesting. Can you make a montage of just that?
I like the smooth edges on the EPCC decks, I hate how most USPCC decks have very rough edges and are cut off centered. My favorite cards are STUDS.
Half my cheap bicycles are off centered.
@@gbiscuits know this is an old comment, but even my nicer decks are off centered ha
10:42 The text written on the deck is from a song called "Through the valley - Shawn James" beautiful song! I found it cool that they used that on the deck!
Daniel Ridwan It's from the Bible. Psalm 23.
My hopes were shattered when you opened the Skull and Bones deck!

7:42 was that editing or are you just that fast holy cow !!! that's amazing if it was you i'm gonna make a gif out of it, may i ?
"Let's put a laser show on the back of the card" LOL 😂😂😂
Where can I get those skull and bones cards with that case, so cool!
I like the design of the Skull ones. They look great for a good night of poker hands with the fellas.
I really love the NOC V3 , in fact, the first deck I bought in a magic shop were some purple NOC V3, along some blue aviators
I love your videos man, I've progressed a lot with your tutorials, thanks for everything !!
Greetings from Perú!!!
Ps. You should do a latinamerica tour 👀
Could you be more Canadian with your McDonald’s hockey cards?
I find these card videos strangely soothing to watch ..I just can't put my finger on it as to why...like a stress ball or something
Is it just me or do Chris’s eyes look hypnotizing on this lense
So glad the stud finish was good, I miss studs, and I like that they piqued your interest
Hey Chris. I've always enjoyed being an spectator of magic card tricks and I'm glad I found your channel. Loving it. Keep up the great work and fun atmosphere, you got a new fan.
Tight like a... tiger??? Are...are tigers known for being tight? Is this a turn of phrase I've never heard before?
never seen a deck review-like vid with presenting three decks,what a cool way for a deck review vid,one vid = 3 decks,watanays
I felt this way when I got my momento mori cards in the mail. They felt so different from the bicycle cards I’m used to but now they are my favorite cards to perform with. I think you can get used to just about anything with enough time.
The chosen ones when you were testing them almost had a sexiness to them. The skull and crossbones ones where just beautiful.
i dig those skull and bones cards so hard. the holographic details are super cool to me, love it. all three of these decks have sweet designs to me though. thanks for tge video!

Totally feel you Chris! I hate the plastic on the cards too!
My favorite deck is the Vintage Plaid by Dan and Dave. Gotta love em!
The chosen deck just from a design stand point are beautiful. Not crazy about the rest and it's hard to tell without holding them.
Holy moly Chris! Even at 240p, you still look HD. I am baffled!
Love the second deck ,and your choice and the last deck very evil just like me. 👍
Thx for helping me not waste my money.
I totally value your opinion due to your super smooth handling of decks.😎
Thx Chris Always inspiring! I think my favourite decks are Madison for Erdnase and Cherry casino black but is also true that there are many decks I never had in my hands ...
Favorite deck right now is the Inspire deck from Alex Pandrea!! #RamFam where you at
Man your shirt reminds me of that "half washed" commercial where your "V" neck is more like a "U" neck hahaha
I am in love with your filming technique!!! Great videos!!
AAYYY fun video to watch man. Recently started magic 2 months ago and I just want to say thank you for all your amazing videos and for inspiring me to take up magic.

Really dig the design on those Chosen cards.
The skull and crossbones’ tuck case had me like “oooooooo me likey” then I saw the back of the cards 💀

Oh those Chosen ones are gorgeous.

Always the great quality content I subscribed for!
Can you please teach me your great cardness? Your flurishes are so on point!!!
Speaking of cool cards. Lets get some love on those Leons that Chris Mayhew has going on kickstarter. Its running down and needs some love to fund. Nice classy remake of the Dr Leons. Shameless plug, i hope they fund.
While you are looking at cards with different finishes and stocks that are different from the USPC, you should check out Fournier.
My Favorite Expert Deck is the Laura London Signature NOC Deck.

Hey.. I love your content. I think all the people who do deck reviews should see your video and learn a thing or two about how to review a deck.
My favourite deck is Tally Ho made by USPC.

I still think about buying more playing cards and also I liked all the cards that you showed.
Right now my favourite deck are the Killer Bees made with Cartamundi B9 linen finish
I normally don't remove the plastic wrap all the way. I leave on the bottom part to protect the deck of wear and tear.
