Let me jump into defense for (parts of) Legendary Member real quick I really think the unique texture LM has, especially in the first half, gets slept on. The production combines thin hi hats and bass with these off-kilter, hypnotic, kind of nocturnal but still blissful melodies to create a very psychedelic experience. Combined with Thaiboy's repetitive refrains and the super synthetic way his voice interacts with autotune, I dare to say this is like Carti's Die Lit if it was drained. Kiss me through the scope is one of my fav Thaiboy songs The sad thing is that it falls off really hard in the second half. Both Thaiboy and the production sound like they've run out of ideas and just made generic dg music. I totally agree that the features carried there. Hey but that's just my opinion, great video keep being a normal person!!
Good tour - I think it's a proof of an artist's creativity when they have multiple styles/eras, or somewhat of a split fanbase- I only got into DG around Crest, I love the dreamier sound. I tried to listen to Eversince and earlier Bladee on your recommendation but it really didn't hit with me lol. Anyway for the albums I like I agree with your ratings, good opinions 🤝
