I’m a Silicon Valley based venture capitalist at multi-billion dollar fund SignalFire, and an investor in companies such as Uber, Ro, Grammarly, and others. I’ll cover trends such as deepfakes, creator economy, artificial intelligence, AI, mental health, telemedecine, eCommerce, great resignation, the future of work, no code, ransomware, colonial hack, colonial pipeline hack, spacetech, nft, crypto, and web3.
What do you think about these technology predictions? These are very difficult to get right; no one in the world would have guessed a pandemic would come to define technology deployment this year. Hey Wayne, it's me again. Are you seeing much evidence of public market carnage spilling over the private market fundraising and valuations? I'm surprised by some of the private market valuations of late and would love your take. So close to 1K, keep up the content!

Hey! Yes, I think the private market is softening a bit, except for web3 deals. There will be a lag between public and private markets though with so much committed capital. Thanks for the support!

That's a great list and the production quality on your videos is amazing. I think metaverse will be another as will defi, which will get amped due to failures in traditional banking and the rise of the metaverse. I'd say metaverse and defi are a positive self propogating loops. You can take ur in game items and get defi loans to use their value in the real world.
