Interstate 17 has awesome views of the Arizona forest when there are no clouds in the sky. I wonder if interstate 17 will ever be extended north of flagstaff to connect with interstate 70 near Salina Utah.
I did the southbound trip from Flagstaff to Phoenix back in '93 as sunset approached. One of the most scenic drives I ever did. My wallet was happy, too. Used almost no gas the whole way down.
5:19 Great view of Humphreys Peak by the time you reach Exit 320, 20 plus miles south of the big interchange. Love it. Wish I lived out there sometimes.
I fondly remember that trip up I-17 a few years ago, when I was planning to hike up Humphrey’s Peak, even though I had never seen the mountain before. It was quite intimidating to see that up ahead on the journey. The hike was successful and very beautiful. It was my very first western high point.
@@InterstateKyle I wonder what parts of New Mexico we're going to see. Arizona was pretty obvious at like episode 3 or 4 (I-40) BUT NM has several routes you could possibly take at this point: I-40 across the entire state again, I-40 to Albuquerque and then I-25 south to La Cruces, or I-25 north into Colorado.

It’s all beautiful but flagstaff is gorgeous

17s Milage is Actually Based off US 89 as well because its original southern end was at Nogales
That makes more sense.

Greets from the Netherlands.
Thanks for tuning in Paul.
Traveling salesman? I love being on the road myself: something free about it that air doesn't compare to
Only recently realized that this channel has never made a video in New Mexico, so that's going to be a first.
New Mexico prior to April of this year was the only state that I’ve been to but didn’t have a video of, that’s about to change very soon!
