The story of my spinal cord injury, and the first three months of rehab. Can't wait to put up part two!
This song was born out of one of my dad's old chorus's "keep the faith". The chorus has remained the same, but I've written different verses. He created the video.
Wow, thanks David for sharing your story. I am still in recovery from my third emergency aortic dissection surgery, as well as having severe sepsis infection, and was not expected to survive, and like you, had to learn to walk again with great physical challenges. I have found that unless someone has gone through such a life changing event, it is hard for people to really understand the physical, emotional, spiritual and financial challenges of such an event. I encourage everyone around David and others to remember that these challenges last far beyond the hospital, and even learning to walk again, and to be supportive and loving. Our faith is truly what will empower us to find the 'testimony' in our 'test' to make a positive impact on others as David is doing. God bless you.
Chris Otter thanks so much Chris! My story is one of redemption. This accident has been turned around for so much good. I hope you can find ways to do the same with yours!

I'm in a wheelchair, I'm not able to walk, but I don't want to give up. I'm keeping up the faith, but it's not easy. I believe with God all things are possible. 🙏

Amen, my friend! I actually died several times and had an "experience" with our Lord. I will maybe share some time. But the bottom line is that there is NO fear in death, and His love for us surpasses our understanding. As scripture tells us "God is love" and His peace through these trials is more valuable than any earthly treasure. Best of luck and blessings to you brother.
That's crazy!! Wow glad you survived.

Never give up. Pray. Fight. Find purpose.
Not alot of people can appreciate this - but didn't you get tired of pulling that dang IV pole all over the place? I ended up blowing up a latex glove and sticking it on the top with a painted face and spiked hair (the fingers) and called it Slim. (PS. I think Slim was a stalker cause he followed me everywhere I went! HA!)
