Attitude of course I did. I just found out about this channel two days ago and I've already been watching 6 videos. Can you please make an episode about Tourettes or tic disorders in general. that would be so interesting

My mother has this condition. She is 50 and is just now getting confident. My mother had a painful childhood because of this but she is the strongest woman I know.
Man, I really appreciate this episode. You think it is hard going through high school with such a serious disability, imagine how college will be?! It is really hard and almost everyone is indifferent to the struggles that a disabled individual goes through. It is something else... I'm glad he says it aloud, speaks his mind, and is honest. He plays the guitar beautifully too btw!!
Hey guys I just had a baby he is born with SB too. I cry night and day. This video has given me hope that my baby might have a chance at a happy life. Any encouragement or advice will be taken with joy
nyoka johnson I’m a paraplegic and in my early 50s. I went to college, grad school, have a great professional career, am married, have twins, own my home, drive myself everywhere, ride my adapted mountain bike, care for my daughter’s horse, and have been to every continent except Antarctica and Australia. Having a physical disability by no means implies you cannot have a full and happy life.
You probably won't see this, but hello! Im carson I'm 19 and I have Spina Bifida. There will be hardships, there will be difficulties, but we truly learn to overcome and live with everyday struggles. A happy life with spina bifida is possible, and likely. As long as you're there, talk to them and as they get older, understand what they go through, especially through puberty and social life.
I am 50 with SB and I am so glad you are out there sharing your story and helping so many others,,,, And your sister has excellent taste in tv shows!!!!! Love Vampire diaries too!!
So glad I watched this! I have spina bifida (myelomeningocele) like him but I'm walking and my learning disabilities are a little worse than his. I have a harder time being independent. Like he said, spina bifida is different for everyone that has it. Different degrees of it. But this was super encouraging!! Congrats to this guy for staying positive and not giving up!
My grandma has spina bifida and because of that she is paralyzed from the waist down her life has been a big struggle but she has been able to have two kids when the doctor said she was able to pass so many milestones even though she has spina bifida so who ever sees this or sees this comment know that you can do anything god puts in front of you
His passion for doing meaningful work, his love for his mom, and his smile are contagious. I loved this video and can't wait to hear what Shakti does in the future.
What a wonderful son. To hear a teen talk so positive about their parent is the best reward, next to the love that your child gives you, respect. Some of us don’t have that capability or opportunity to be an amazing parent, all you can do is try and hope it works out right. Job well done, on both sides.
What are the financial issues the family faces from having a chronic condition like this? Surgeries, hospitalizations, meds, medical equipment, etc. Something like this in the USA could easily bankrupt a family. God Bless him and his family. 🇺🇸
Shakti, I'll be thinking of you & your loving Mum for a long time to come...With your positive attitude & enthusiastic nature, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll achieve all your goals...You're such a DEAR young man...My cousin became a paraplegic at the age of 19 when the cable that supported him while working high up on a telephone pole, abruptly SNAPPED...He has gone on to live a rich & full life with a very Loving wife...He drives, works fulltime, travels, plays wheelchair basketball, & has many wonderful friends...This is the kind of Life you'll have, too...Love & Hugs to you & your Family from the U.S.A.
Having been born with SB/MMC, I can so relate to this. Becoming as independent as possible is really important, as is (sadly) educating non-disabled people about what it can be like being disabled.
Devin Lind disabled people can learn anything that you can love my daughter like I said has spina bifida got paralyzed from the waist down was in a wheelchair wash clothes get dishes vacuumed dusted made beds when shopping would get on a bus and go shopping has four children of her own and has raised every one of them she is now 38 years old and she is now sick but I will always be good by her side always will help her as much as possible and now all you can do is love I had a doctor one time teach me you cannot ever wait on the child handicap and then put if they can do some other things yourself my daughter could they told me not to treat her any different than my other child who wasn't handicapped to give her chores to do and to teach her to be independent and she's very independent very I guess I'm very lucky on that she's gotten sick or has she's gotten older need to help a little more and her sister helps her more she has an older sister who
Whenever I see disabled people, I look at them as a bit different, but only for a short time. Then it's all regular life, I don't focus on their disability because it is no big deal. Wish more people actually did this, I find many who discriminate such people.
I was born with Spina Bifida in 1987, in Australia. I became a vlogger about a yr, when I finally decided to show the “world” what it’s like to live with my disability. It’s great to see others caring enough to get our stories out there!. Thank you!!!!!!
I think this young man will do just fine on his own he seems like a very smart fella trust me being in a wheelchair don't mean you can't do all the things normal people can do he's got it👍👍👍
I had a friend who was in a wheelchair, he was independent and had his own landscaping business he even went and did the work when he was able. He too was in and out of the hospital. He never let it make him give up.
