He is right, tall boxers can use this style but what i have seen is that this style uses to create angles and let the fighter go to the inside(most effectfull against tall fighters) while tall boxers like Lennox Lewis or the Klitschkos used their jabs, long range and height advantage to disallow their smaller opponents to come to the inside. That's why most of us think this style is specially good for small boxers.
Teddy Atlas is one of the people saying there’s no point in tall fighters using peekaboo. He mentioned it when he was talking about when he became Michael Moorer’s trainer and how he didn’t train him in that style because of his height.

I disagree with his disagreement. Yes you can learn something if you put your heart to it, question is is it worth it. There's no denying Mike's fighting styles was best suited for his physical attributes. Big fighters are slow, and bigger targets. Yes you can borrow some aspects of the peekabo style, but in its purity, it may not work for you.
Truth is this I am a 6’5 boxer and I love and adapt well with the peekaboo it is literally my favorite and the best fighting technique. Hit and don’t get hit I don’t know about you but that sounds good to me and a lot of modern day heavy weight fighters do the opposite. Like I said and I’ll say it again the heavy weight boxers of the 1990s are better than the boxers today. One other reason I’ll say peekaboo is not used anymore is simple the boxers of today simply don’t have what it takes to fight with that style and it is as simple as that. All the excuses don’t move me. I love cuz d mato and he’s peekaboo to me is the best way of fighting
Im very interested to see how orthodox boxers use the peek a boo style. Do they do the same thing like you teach us over your videos but mirrored. And as always thank you very much for beeing here on youtube to teach us lessons. I'm always carefully listening to you coach.
Mr. Carter, I think your question was not accurate. When you are tall you don't need to make a wave under your short opponent's elbow. When you are tall you don't need to get close to your opponent and give him a chance to hit you. The question should have been like this Than you 🌹

What height is considered tall
above 6'1.
in boxing it’s about weight. you could be 6’1 in the heavyweight division and be average but in the welterweight division extremely tall
