1969 Corvette reverse lock out.

Mark Boice Scared Shiftless, Rides and Wrecks explains how to properly engage and disengage the reverse lock out. You can damage the internal transmission parts by not properly engaging the reverse gear. The key must in in the forward position. Best when vehicle is running. Do not force. Shifter rods must be properly aligned.
