  • Efficient public transport is crucial in metropolitan areas. In Gdańsk, it is managed by three main stakeholders: The Gdańsk Public Transportation Operator (GAiT), the Gdańsk Public Transportation Authority (ZTM), and the Gdańsk Roads and Greenery Authority (GZDiZ). They aim to improve public transport by using data on passenger numbers, routes, and behavior.
To collect this data, they use our IRMA sensors, which provide accurate data for real-time analysis and future planning. This data helps all three organizations to improve the efficiency and comfort of public transport in Gdansk by optimizing vehicle deployment, adjusting timetables, planning infrastructure, and improving traffic management, resulting in better service and reduced costs.
