  • In this video I upgrade my rear sway bar on my 2014 Honda Accord LX Sedan. I go from a 22mm Progress Tech Sway Bar to a 25.4mm Progress Tech Sway bar. After installing the sway bar I also add the adjustable Progress Tech sway bar links. Hope the video helps you decide which option you want to go with. Hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching.

    Can’t wait to see the TLX Front sway bay install! I hope it’s all going to be easy like the V6 upgrade I did. I also agree with you that I wish I would’ve done the 25.4. I’ll try and do that after I do the flex z

    Hey, I recently installed the 25.4mm as well going from the 22mm! Feels wayyy better just on soft and more flat during cornering. It’s perfect if lowered

    Even if all you do is the rear sway bar and the front brace (like me, all I wanted was a car that was flatter in turns... I don't track my car), it's literally transformative.
    Can I get the upgraded sway bar links and use them at stock ride height? I'm trying to further improve the stability of my v6 accord. (Did the 19mm ultra racing and the front strut brace)
    I may do some ultra racing subframe upgrades too, just to keep the chassis level. What's your take for a daily driver?
    Thanks.
    PS: more accord videos!!! I may do a front sway bar myself to keep the v6 from being porky

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes you can use the sway bar links at stock height.
      I think what you have planned is a great option for a daily driver setup!
      More videos will definitely be coming out.

    Love the content, 2 questions, how have you addressed the issue of negative camber with the car on coilovers? And did you need to replace the OEM sway bar end links or could you have just reused the OEM ones?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  Год назад

      Thank you.
      Since I had to use the vise grip pliers method to remove the end links due to rust I would needed to replace the end links with new ones. If you can remove them using the allen wrench and ratcheting wrench method then you can reuse.
      The car can get -2 degrees of camber in the back with the normal alignment options from factory. For the front you can remove the alignment bolt from your coilovers or struts top mounts to get I believe -1 degree or maybe a bit more. However I have camber plates in the front to give me more than that. I did a video on the front.
      Hope that helps, thanks for watching and commenting.

    I may have missed it, but did you have to make any holes bigger to fit the upgraded end links?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  5 месяцев назад

      To fit the end links, no. To fit the sway bar, yes. I mentioned the larger holes for the sway bar mounts in my other sway bar video.

    do you lknow if these would be beneficial for my coupe on hfp suspension? I see a lot of mixed reviews on sway bar upgrades not sure what the best route is to go

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  10 месяцев назад +1

      Sway bar upgrades are one of the best things you can do to help control body roll. It absolutely would benefit you even with the HFP suspension. I personally recommend the thicker option of the two options Progress Tech has, which is the one I did in this video.
      I hope that helps you out.
      Thanks a lot for watching and commenting.

      @@FULLTHROTTLEAUTOI guess the only other question is which size adjustable end links you recommend going with. Theres a couple different options on heeltoe which is where i planned on getting them from

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@boostedsteve for the rear I like the Progress Tech option. Having only experienced their product I would recommend them and from what I'm aware they only have the one option. I can't comment on any other company since I haven't used and of the others.

    I have the tsudo sp2 catback exhaust as well will the size of the exhaust interfere with this sway bar?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO

      @@josephguinta as I mentioned in the video, to me it's worth it. It will make a difference. Will you notice that difference on the road with normal driving? Most likely not. But there will be a difference compared to stock. And even over the 22mm.
