Saw it yesterday in the netherlands sailing, what a beautifull ship wow.. Love the blue "standard" sail! There was "no" wind everybody was laying anchored as we, but this boat was just turning and burning.. bft 1-2 nice work.
The sub 30 foot choices continue to be awesome. This boat looks great - not sure if Eric is right about sailing it to Bermuda, but for what most people in this market want, it looks ideal.
Beautiful boat. Not sure I'd put the switches on the kickplate coming out of the companionway though. Doesn't take much in the way of rough seas to get your feet in the wrong place while going up stairs. But, this is just my humble opinion. Other than that.....I'd love to have one.
@@jacmaclar Lol, that's such a sharp comparison. I adore the way he "jumps" in the super narrow front birth, making it look comfortable in spite of his size. I own a boat like this and am tall too. My ship is a bit shorter but spacier as emptier inside and wider. And I can tell you, if I LOVE the way it sails and is great fun, I almost lit it on fire a few times after bumping my head, my girlfriend's head and our baby's head just for an urgent night pee :-)
Beneteau says it planes at 12kts of wind. Can anyone confirm if that is correct? How does it compare to J80 out on the race course? Saw one with PHRF rating of 142 in Galveston PHRF which seems to be slower and heavier than the J80.
I recently purchased a 22 Catalina 16.5. As I learn and get more comfortable, I can very much see myself purchasing this boat. I want something that can do decent coastal sailing, I’m in New England, but also has enough room to entertain my friends.
I love it and sailing a kind of predecessor of this (small French productiin), I'd just would love it a bit higher and wider. But then again, it would look plumper and wouldn't be trailerable. I guess the key is to know what you want
This is always such an interesting boat from Beneteau, but I don't think the simplicity of this boat is a main selling point. It does just about the same as any other 26 footer, and for the money I don't see why anyone wouldn't consider any other 30 foot cruising boat - even if they had to go back a couple model years to get to the same price point. Great looking boat for sure. I could see this being better marketed to club racers and weekenders, but not to your average bear.
Although I have a much larger boat (X Yacht 38') now, my first two boats were a Beneteau F235 and a F310. I loved them both so much! I'm anxious to take a look-see at this boat. The efficiency of design and speed on the 235 and 310 were just awesome. I still miss them - each in their own way! Will there be one at the Annapolis Sailboat Show in Oct.?
Good question. It's b rated, so not really. Technically probably it does but 2.5m wide is not much shorthanded. It's a hell of a day sailor, but at the same time extremely expensive as such
One of the most informative video I have seen on the F27. Very well filmed and hosted. Congrats!
Always a pleasure working with Eric. He makes our job so easy :)

Perhaps you could profile a trailer solution on your next video

People do ocean crossings in boats this size and smaller, I’m sure you can sail this to Bermuda no problem
My dad sailed across the ocean on a 25 foot sailboat so it can be done

REALLY good presentation skills. Informative without being mechanical.
Oh man. I'd be kicking the switches on the way out of the cabin all day.
Me too.
Yep, me too!
Just make a cover
Great work both in the boat and presentation!
What an awesome boat so we'll described in every detail. I can't wait to see it for myself. We like speed.
yes maçgrog26 sail 16.6 kbit outbar 20 kñots fast pwer sailer
That's an awesome looking boat, but 3:12 "Master Stateroom" ROFL!!
My question is: van I take the 27SE version and sail on lakes, where are some shallow waters, or it would be to easy to damage a boat?
I don't know if the boat is THAT great, but the salesman definitely is 😁. They should urgently bring him over to Europe
I knew guy like him who sold suits. He pinched the back of the suit jacket you were trying on and said, "See, if fits great!"

Great presentation!
I wonder if you have to pay at the local marina 250 bucks just to get it on the trailer? Or can it be launched at a ramp?

I am struggling to see what I would do different with this boat.
Maybe avoid double spreaders - but damn - it's a great design.

These are more about performance than most other boats that size. This thing can plane on autopilot pretty good, can’t say that about many other boats
best boat
Hooray Seascape !
To call the forward berth a “Master State room” is a miss statement! Over selling is rude and offensive! Other than that it looks a fun boat
That is a cool boat! ⛵
Your 6'4" 240 how trump 6'3" 215 lol

❤
This boat can sail cross ocean?

Why is a 26ft boat called a 27?
It's called marketing bullshit.
wring zero bul shit water kine without swim plat firm ir bow are
water oine has few feet kess tyen oeop stay
Cozy interior?
Looks designed by a cheap IKEA 🤣🤣🤣
Bright inside, easy to clean. I'll take it!
kind of callous to assume the gender of a boat
