@Amir Babs Americans planned to be seperating from Britain, Canadians are still in a constitutional monarchy.
Many North American dialects are closer to how the average brit spoke 200 years ago than modern British english.
Back in the day rich people and nobility would go to universities like oxford and cambridge where they would take classes in how to speak 'properly' (ie: not like those poor commoners)
It wasn't until the advent of radio that most people started speaking in a way that you would recognize as a British accent.
Radio presenters where people who attended these universities and took the speaking classes, so on air they could sound very 'official'
Anyone could listen to the radio however, and thus the common folk started imitating the radio hosts... which led to the birth of British english as we know it today.

But to be THAT guy, nobody actually just wants to be rich. If you look at all the overwhelmingly rich people and what they do with their money, you see the truth.
Everyone really just wants be comfortable. The way to do so is to be rich.
When people have money they buy a big house. Why? small houses are less comfortable. Cramped.
They buy fast cars, private airplanes and ride helicopters to skip traffic. Why? Because long commutes aren't comfortable. They go on relaxing vacations to exclusive resorts. Why? Crowded places aren't comfortable.

Painfully unfunny in my opinion. The laughter track was also very obvious and no shots of the audience laughing. Was there even anyone there?
I think the show was done during covid times so probably not, but I'm not sure about that
This didn't sound like stand up, this sounded like a seminar where someone is selling you a program to get rich. I'm pretty sure that was a laugh track. The amount of people in attendance didn't match the abundance of laughter. Everything about this seemed off.
