It was so satisfying seeing Stella take back her crown. I always hated how they kinda ripped off her arc this season and do something similar with Sky/Diaspro/Bloom.
@@DiokJcieo Remember when Cassandra worked with Valtor and casted a spell on Radius to turn him against Stella? Six episodes later, Diaspro is given a love potion by Valtor to give to Sky to make him fall in love with her, and he turns against the girls, Bloom in particular if I recall correctly. Ironically, that was also the episode when Stella sacrificed herself and broke Radius of Cassandra's control. Both men also get Valtor's mark while under Cassandra and Diaspro's vontrol.
It's a shame that we never got to see what Chimera really looks like in her fairy form because I would like to see a proper showdown between her and Stella in their fairy forms just like Bloom and Diaspro did back in Season one were Bloom found out the truth about Brandon/Sky.
Stella standing up to Chimera and telling her what makes a true princess will forever be so iconic and epic! 😍😍😍Of course, Nickelodeon had to throw Stella's character developlment throughout the window and make her a stereotypical spoiled party blonde princess! Unforgivable! 😡😡
Something I just noticed: Stella’s biker outfit has no yellow or orange. Just pink with a bunch of blue highlights. Blue being more in tune with her lunar side. It’s almost symbolic of how she’s still separated from her father and can’t count on him for support. So, she has to rely on the other half of herself (as is depicted by surrounding Casandra in darkness). If that was intentional, props to Rainbow! I actually like the Musa and Riven subplot going on during episode 19, cause it shows that their lives didn't revolve around one event in particular. Like, yes, Stella has to save her father and kingdom but Musa is going tru it with her man too! It makes the writing more complex and real for me.
Isn't Musa and Riven having a spat even by this point just Tuesday? It's not even a subplot at this point...it's just plot...that needs plotting against.
Stella is such an icon, i refuse tu believe this stella is the same like season 6, this is the real Stella , a kind harted beautiful person who would kill anyone who would mess with her friends and her family ❤💛
My fanfic brain wants to rewrite this subplot. There's nothing wrong with it but I love political fantasy and my brain is thinking about how this would this would go down if this wasn't a kid's show. As the biological daughter, Stella would have a huge backing in the nobility. Her mother's side of the family would not let this slide either.
Finally on the best episode of the season! Watching Stella absolutely slay here never gets old. The way she absolutely obliterates Chimera both times with one shot just to show their gap in power. I love it so much. Also for the one millionth time, TAKE WHATEVER TIME YOU NEED FOR THE REWRITE 😭 What's the point in it if you're forcing yourself to get it done when you're burnt out and not having fun making it as we do consuming it? Getting burnt out also risks a drop in quality and I will never stand for that

Tbh I think it's great that Musa's relationship drama is going on in the middle of saving Solaria. It's giving "yea, sure we're kidnapping a circus act, impersonating them, crashing a wedding, and deposing a couple of dictators, but honestly it's nothing big. This is just a regular Tuesday thing tbh"
Or maybe they're in Bloom & Flora's or the common area. Purple walls in season 3 were still Bloom/Flora & common area exclusive. Stella had orange, Aisha had green and Musa/Tecna have blue. When they move into the teacher suites in season 4, Aisha now sleeps downstairs in Stella's section and the wall color on her half becomes purple with blue accents like Bloom's.
Maby if Roxy were looked like Nova, the creators would say that she is a part of the winx. The problem with Roxy's look is that she looks like Tekna so many they thought it will confuse us or something like that.
Great video! I've thought for a while now about some of the pixies and who they could bond with. If they ever bothered to give Diaspro a redemption arc, a cute idea I had was that her bonded pixie could be Glim. It could go something along the lines of Glim being absolutely enamored with Diaspro, thinking both she and her magic are beautiful. Similar to how Glim was fascinated with the crystals in the caves after she and the other pixies were rescued back in season 2. Through their bonding, Diaspro could learn to become more empathetic through having to care for Glim, since Glim's still a baby, like Piff. Diaspro could also learn to become a bit more laid back due to Glim's whimsical and carefree nature, bringing a much needed sense of freedom and fun to her life. As well as a source of love from someone who genuinely loves and appreciates her. Not to mention, the idea of the fairy of gemstones and the pixie of fireflies bonding is just absolutely adorable to me.
I love episode 19 especially when Stella glows and walks towards Cassandra. I love it more in the cinelume dub. The music and the voice acting. The Pixie episode, is it unpopular how i liked it. And also the way the Trix are going at each other for Valtor was the best part.
24:40 Glim is absolutely meant to to be Mirta’s. Fairy of Illusions with the Pixie of Fireflies? Love it, the fireflies absolutely gives spooky will o’wisp vibes and that fits with Mirta and her whole aesthetic plus illusions bend light and shadows. They were made for each other tbh. Glim-Mirta, Zing-Roxy, Cherie-Daphne, Livy-Selina, Cherie-Diaspro

Fun bit of trivia about my guitar lessons. My guitar teacher showed me a new riff last week, and it was almost exactly the notes from 'Feels like Magic.' And i recognised that by ear. Obviously he didn't get the riff from Winx Club he got it from a song that pre-dates the show. But apparently its a commonly used riff and he was really proud that i'd noticed that in a song i like.
To this day season 3 episode 19 is my absolute favorite Winx Club episode in the whole series......i just love how insanely badass Stella acted.........ironically enough the following episode is my absolute LEAST favorite in the whole series.
The sceptre and ring were always a mark of the Royal Family, so I always assumed that Cassandra forced some royal smith to make a sceptre for Chimera as further "proof" that she was Solaria's new crown princess. It still could've been made clear, but that's the reason I always went with. 😅 Stella was never my _favorite_ favorite, but Stella taking back her kingdom was always my favorite moment for her. The confrontation with Cassandra was so PEAK. I just wish that we got to see Chimera's fairy form since she goes to an fairy school that has a rivalry with Alphea, even if it's one-sided. Just more to highlight how inferior a fairy like Chimera is compared to Stella, and to further show how powerless Cassandra is without any magic of her own. I AM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO SIT THROUGH THE PIXIE TRIX EPISODE. 😭😭😭 The only absolute dud of the season, god. This is made a billion times worse with how resourceful the Pixies _were_ in the _last season._ The only positive to this episode was Valtor finding time to take a break and watch girls he'd never give a chance fight over him.
14:16 YESSSS in the cinelume dub Stella’s transformation uses one of the fairy dust themes and omg it makes her out to be like some space angel goddess coming to kick 🍑
I would have loved “The Pixies’ Charge” if season three wasn’t so packed with content. It’s obvious how much of a breakneck pace they were going at. Instead of Digit, we could’ve had a story about Tecna where X/6 of the Winx go to Zenith. Why X/6? Musa stays behind because of something like the anniversary of her mother’s death. Presumably Aisha stays behind (and maybe Stella after her familiar grievances this season). Musa goes to Melody/the Harmonic Nebula to visit Musa’s father. That way, both Musa and Tecna get to go to their home worlds in this season. There were so many things that could’ve filled this episode’s slot.
I think a Bloom/Tecna only on Zenith again because the old journals on the 4kids website said that Bloom was the only one Tecna ever took to Zenith before...probably because Bloom was the only one who would appreciate her weird technomagic world. They can also easily set up subplot pairs like Aisha is rebuilding with Musa and then they go to Melody later/vice-versa, and Flora's helping Stella with cleaning up a mess on Solaria.
Awesome as always! I don't have much to say about the episodes that were reviewed, but your editing/humor was EASILY the best part of the episode Keep it up!😀

28:23 Hmm... That's interesting. I really like Darcy but I always found Stormy to be the most sincere. She's like the little sister that goes a long with her big sisters cause they say it's cool 😂. Imagining Darcy as a well adjusted member of society isn't hard though. She's got her self together
I love how you made the worst season 3 episode (episode 20) immensely more enjoyable with your commentary. Somehow, I don’t dislike this episode as much anymore 😅
Does anyone find it odd that we never see what Chimera looks like in fairy form? Also this is the best wedding crash moment ever in an animated series. Right next to the Season 2 finale in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the one from Helluva Boss!
I am in that time of "make crimes happen" arc right now so a lot of this is my mood. 1) Finally I'm not the only one to wonder why Layla was in Tecna's side of the room. I've been thinking that for literal years. 2) I wonder if Digit has a personal vendetta against Baltor (Valtor) because he was the reason Tecna had to sacrifice herself.
You know something I never thought about until now when Stella first got her enchantix she had more then enough time to use her fairy dust to break the spell on her father before she left I don’t know that’s a plot hole or like get Aisha to do it don’t know not me finding plot holes in season 3
In the Cinelume/Nick version she does and Radius was initially intending to play Bat, but man is he lousy at it! Got re-warped easily. 4kids likely cut that part because Radius is quite literally a hothead!
which pearl are you talking about? also i definitely agree with they should’ve made the wedding crashers episode more about Stella, especially considering her father and entire kingdom was at stake
Speaking of the Necronomicon, Al Azif's chibi form in Demonbane reminds me a lot of the pixies' designs. It makes me think the pixies could be descended from a living grimoire or the fragments of one. It would explain why bonding with a pixie enhances one's magic and their association with magical tomes/knowledge.
I rewatched Season 3 today... I can't believe that no one cought the fact that Faragonda is a fraud. Faragonda said that her, Saladin and Griffin were the ones who finished off the ancestral witches while her parents dealt with Valtor... But then Valtor at the end said that ancestral withches were the one's who took her parents, which movie does indeed support... This makes absolutely no sense because they can't be last seen against Valtor and against ancestral withches. AND ALSO, IN THE MOVIE, FARAGONDA AND HAGEN WERE PRESENT IN THE FIGHT WITH THE WITCHES! WHICH MEANS SHE KNEW THE WHOLE TIME WHERE THEY WERE AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM. Which means that Valtor lying about her parents is completely pointless because Faragonda could have just said, no that's not what happened 😭 Season 3 is such a mess outside of earning enchantix, nothing makes sense 😭
@@juliez16 That doesn't make sense tho, because it's also shown to us. It's in inconsistency the writers glazed over. Like, how can you say that the ones who actually finished off her parents were ancestral witches when ever since season 1 we knew that Griffin, Faragonda and Saladin were the ones to "allegedly" beat them. So they should know what happened because Bloom's parents cannot be taken by both Valtor and Ancestral Witches at the same time without the trio not knowing anything about it. Like they literally said that they never returned from the fight with Valtor but in the movie they're fighting alongside them against the witches. Make it make sense 😭
Also one Stella's roasts of Cassandra's clothing was actually still too nice for her. Not even Vanna White and the Price is Right Models would dare wear that.
If you remember who Michael’s Winx Club was/is (the iconic fan site that was actually ran by a middle age straight man and not a gay millennial), he claimed in an interview on the Winx Forever Podcast that he had close ties with Iginio Straffi and some of the writers/producers on the show and that The Pixies’ Charge episode was a suggestion of his.
The fairy animal things from season 2 and 3 are so much cuter and more appealing than the Love n Pet fairy animals. The season 4 designs were trying so hard to be cute and marketable that they felt generic and annoying, they were so obviously copying littlest pet shop. But the early guys are legit cute and charming. It helps that they went with unconventional animals: A frog, a crab, a porcupine, a seahorse, it's great. I never wanted to see the Love n Pet animals again, but I legitimately missed the seahorse fairy animal.
I am right there with you for the episode with the pixies. When I rewatch season 3 I skip this episode, it’s not my favorite but also I don’t really enjoy the pixies
What I've always wondered is no where was Stella's mom when all the stuff involving her this season happened? I know she was divorced from Radius and no longer queen but if her daughter wad literally being cast aside and robbed of her crown, you'd think she'd be show up at some point abd be like "Radius, what the fuck?!" On another note, apparently firelight is the light of the fire from a fireplace and supposedly Nova's powers are light based, so yeah, she literally channels the light of a fire.
It’s good that in season 2 Darkar and the Trix had a master-servant relationship, it helped them remain competent and smart villains. The moment they became Valtor's fangirls, they lost all their coolness and intelligence.
It's okay. I also do not like the pixie episode because it made the Trix looked like a joke compares to their badass and terrifying selves back in season 1.

Does anyone find it odd that we never see what Chimera looks
like in fairy form? Also this is the best wedding crash moment
ever in an animated series. Right next to the Season 2 finale
in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the one from
Helluva Boss!
7:06 I always thought it was the light of fire flies, candles, and small flames
24:38 Glim should have been Nova's pixie.
26:56 Livvy so has ADHD.
I literally had to check if the pixie episode existed because I did not remember it at first😂
which pearl are you talking about? also i definitely agree with they should’ve made the wedding crashers episode more about Stella, especially considering her father and entire kingdom was at stake
Perfect to watch since my class got canceled
In Croatian translation they fix a lot of "plot holes" and one of them is that Shimera found the septet in the voults of Solaria
NOT CERSEI ELEPHANTS LINE I’M DONE
4kids Stella is such a Queen! We love our style queen! 💛
Which means that Valtor lying about her parents is completely pointless because Faragonda could have just said, no that's not what happened 😭
Season 3 is such a mess outside of earning enchantix, nothing makes sense 😭
i think its the dubs... sometimes the nick, rai and 4kids dubs take some of the plot stuff away and thats why.
@@kawaiimika7974 the 4kids dub cuts out scenes and changes stuff.. thomas says that in one of the other commentary vids
@@juliez16 Ok, but I was mostly referring to the Rai dub... Ye
@@juliez16 even in the 4kids dub they very much imply that Valtor actually was right about some stuff, but not about the absorption spell nonsense.
1. I missed these videos.
2. Take a hint is such a good song, Omg 😭
Also one Stella's roasts of Cassandra's clothing was actually still too nice for her. Not even Vanna White and the Price is Right Models would dare wear that.
8:07 oops
straight people confuse me too, you're not alone :D
10:42 Chatta's face is killing me
12:15 its for drama!
29:40 cross eye
A commentary to one of the most badass episode and one of the funniest, both on my birthday. Why, you didn't have to, but thank you none the less
Am I the only one who thinks Cassandra lowkey looks like Marjorie Taylor Greene?
The fairy animal things from season 2 and 3 are so much cuter and more appealing than the Love n Pet fairy animals. The season 4 designs were trying so hard to be cute and marketable that they felt generic and annoying, they were so obviously copying littlest pet shop. But the early guys are legit cute and charming. It helps that they went with unconventional animals: A frog, a crab, a porcupine, a seahorse, it's great. I never wanted to see the Love n Pet animals again, but I legitimately missed the seahorse fairy animal.
Thomas thank you for releasing this today was absolutely shit
I think the sceptre chimera has is the luna sceptre I think Stella’s is from
Sunlight hence the great dragon fire
So glad this is back! Best series review ever! So much fun, such wit.
3:52 I Dislike Chimera But Her OUTFIT 🖤
12:30
This implies Helia’s wires are physically connected to him and is a part of him. Spider Helia for the win.
I am right there with you for the episode with the pixies. When I rewatch season 3 I skip this episode, it’s not my favorite but also I don’t really enjoy the pixies
What I've always wondered is no where was Stella's mom when all the stuff involving her this season happened? I know she was divorced from Radius and no longer queen but if her daughter wad literally being cast aside and robbed of her crown, you'd think she'd be show up at some point abd be like "Radius, what the fuck?!"
On another note, apparently firelight is the light of the fire from a fireplace and supposedly Nova's powers are light based, so yeah, she literally channels the light of a fire.
I agree with Thomas. Vasthy Mompoint was a great voice for Aisha on the show.
Oh my gosh so happy for this on my lunch break
It’s good that in season 2 Darkar and the Trix had a master-servant relationship, it helped them remain competent and smart villains. The moment they became Valtor's fangirls, they lost all their coolness and intelligence.
It's okay. I also do not like the pixie episode because it made the Trix looked like a joke compares to their badass and terrifying selves back in season 1.
6:01 Icy likes mustard ice cream? Yack. She really is evil.
Season three was iconic
15:42 fun fact Stella was moving so fast it looked like the light wasn’t around her
My biggest issue with 4kids is the lack of Enchantix song
I like the bells better for it. Bells make you think it's the girls' wings fluttering...and makes it much more ethereal.
@@Superlad9494 I get it, but the song is so good especially with Flora it gives me chills
@@Slm99Specially the Italian version like omg😍the chills
I'll watch this during my launch break but take a like at the moment
Hello Thomas, I am a huge fan of your videos and your commentary. I was wanting to know if you could make a video on all the battles in avatar last Airbender and legend of Korra either like a ranking or or like the best and worst type thing like you did with Winx club it’s just a video idea
cassandra and chimera were definetely the most hateable winx villains, but in a good way. they were intentionally made to be hateable so it works in their favor and makes them pretty decent and effective villains. and seeing them get their comeuppance is definitely satisfying.
Yeaaa get her Stella!! Thats our girl! ☀️🌙
Icy kept the secret about her real sister from Stormy and Darcy in Winx Club SEASION 8
Take your time on the rewrite, go at your own pace it's ok
So the rewrite will have 30 episodes total. Huh. Okay.
Tune is a Tradwife and I'm here for it
(That's why she left Musa. She doesn't believe in a lady holding a family and a career 🤷🏿)
Note: Love to Trade wives. Life goals, honestly. Just not atm. 😅
Am i the only that thinks Riven and Darcy are a better couple than Riven and Musa?
Neither are healthy for him, but 4 Kids doesn't actively change his dialogue with Darcy to make him look worse.
Darcy knew Riven was trash, that's why she used a dark spell on him.
@@kingraplhmativo5178 in the Cinelume dub & the updated summary, Riven goes with her freely...Darcy just did that for show there, and then played along.
When i was kid i thought chimera is a same person musa 💀 10:16
thank you for these they are very relaxing
What episode did bloom mention 6 flags?
That's fine because like writers are people not robots so I didn't expect a rider to like make a series like week to week because that's just insane so I don't care how long it takes something to come out because people shouldn't be hurting themselves for their art I'm sorry that sounded a bit cringe basically I can wait a millennium for literally everything
6:44 finally someone said this!!!!!! Nova and Roxy do look alike
I thought i was the only 1 Who noticed that Nova looks like Roxy
