Thanks MrRyyannn. Always appreciate the feedback. I'll definitely keep this in mind on the next one. What can I say though, I was having too much fun with the music playing. Thanks again!
Keith Lutker I like it bruh. You're trying something different. If people want static shots of just the guy playing they can click on the other 99% of the videos on youtube that do that. Keep it up.
Spencer Bronson I think it would be better with some more angle variety. Maybe trying multiple takes from different angles. It's well done and it's good work, but it gets kind of tiring to watch after awhile. Good job either way!
Adam Ojard That is a Musicman JPXI BFR (Petrucci signature). I definitely recommend it, but if you are going to spend thousands, look into the new Jackson Misha Mansoor juggernaut 7 string. I just ordered one, and am anticipating it to be the best 7 string out there. As far as effects for this video, I'm simply using my Axe FX II with a nice high gain patch. There is a bit of delay on the guitar solo part. That's about it!
+Christoffer Säterbro Honestly, I just botched it so that I would know exactly where to come in at. I set it up for a few measures, then had it turn off right when the song began.
More and more as time goes on! I was originally looking up Thy Art is Murder covers because I've been dying to learn some of their work, and thought it was awesome to run into this! You're amazing man.
Hey Cristian, Just saw your comment. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It was actually a slider. It's a Kenova. Works really well. Hope that helps!
wtf is wrong with that camera
It's art
that release of stress in the beginning of the vid is how I feel before showing people songs ive learned on guitar
Actually adding this to my favourites you nailed this song
the moving camera was cool at first but it got annoying very quickly, but awesome cover!

JonathanAmaralMusic Thanks buddy! We try to do something a little different for every video, which means possibly more angles soon.
For sure dude! Huge fan of all your work! Can't wait to see the next cover/song!
Sick playing!! Tight AF!! Camera did make me feel a bit queesy though lol
Ah i know the pain of playing the natural harmonic instead of a dissonance in the first riff lmao
Good job mqn
Great job dude. The diminished note section kills me every time. Still working on that part haha.
+Josh Jennings that kills me too. fucking hard to play clean. and solo fucked up too, cant find the correct tab for them. :(

Do you have a tab for this?
solid!
What kind of guitar are you using? I'm looking for a good 7-string, and what kind of guitar effects are you using if you are using them?

How did you do that metronome-thing in the start? :)
+Christoffer Säterbro Honestly, I just botched it so that I would know exactly where to come in at. I set it up for a few measures, then had it turn off right when the song began.
oh, Nice! Awesome cover btw!
Is that an 8 track player mounted behind the bar!?
Nah man not in this video haha, but at one time yes.
Good jod dude
Did you ever work at a guitar center in crestwood???
+Mirza Kulenovic Yep. Back in the day.
Holy shit haha, I think you helped me with my first acoustic guitar.
Awesome! You still playing I hope?!

Mirza Kulenovic youre from illinois?
Tuning sir?
when i play my 8-string like this i have all the other strings ringing, i use palm musting also any other advice...?
Adam Ojard A good noise gate dialed in correctly can help out astronomically, especially for an 8. Other than that: accuracy.
What string gauges do you use on this guitar for this tuning/half step below this?
+T.J. Spaleny I use a set of skinny top heavy bottom Slinkys, with a custom .72 for my low B.
Dude whats the name of that steady cam?
and how can regulate to take those shots?
lol
