It originally was a playthrough video (you could find it on their band channel in the past before it was transferred to the label channel) and you don't really need a playthrough perspective for a vocalist. He just does what he does ;)

Why does a band have to be technical to be good? I guess some people listen for that and I get the allure of tech bands, I listen to quite a few. It seems to me so many people simply "hear" music while some of us feel it. We dig this and other core bands cause they evoke passion and anger and in a live setting makes for a more memorable and intense experience. At least that's how I feel, The Beatles didn't need to be technical to be amazing, so I don't see why that is so with most metal heads.
It's because there are too many bands playing this style of music. Waaay too many.

I though this was pretty good, great drummer - as for the musical style "Death Metal/Metalcore" why do people call this Deathcore? I think of bands like Aborted when I hear the term Deathcore.

I think Maclemore & Ryan Lewis are doing some great job with music videos nowadays when there isn't just some dude playing something.. Or singing.

As Blood Runs Black - Instinct is the best deathcore album imo. Go listen! No silly bass drops, more vocals range, guitar solos ect. This band are a little generic.

I think you get me wrong here, the sound of the "core" bands in this days is very trendy and I don't get this subgenre at all, that is pretty much it
the technical stuffs are very challenge to the audience and the musicians, it's true that some people just hear music and others hear and feel the music but you should understand that they are not doing nothing special since this sound is so trendy, doesn't mean that they are bad, and don't confuse with my personal taste and their real talent.
I am not saying that they are bad, sounds ok, but not technical at all, what I am saying is that many bands sounds like this one, and this genre is quite trendy.
the drummer is quite good, but even when I am ignoring the stupid voice and the trendy sound, I can't get this genre at all, but this band could be the best one if we compare them with the others "core" bands
