Hi, I'm a physician. I helped a friend who had an unexpected heart attack and was over 300lbs at around 5'8". He was frustrated that he still had high blood pressures after losing about 40 lbs on keto, but I told him he was still too heavy. After a couple of extra months on carnivore he went under 230 lbs and his blood pressure finally got to where he wanted. Frankly, I'm shocked your BP (130s/70s) is as low as it is with your current weight. Your pressure shouldn't drop too quickly or you'll get other symptoms (ie. dizziness when you transfer from sitting to standing). Just keep doing what you're doing with carnivore and DON'T use a scale, measure your waist instead. Understand that you may also be gaining muscle while losing fat, and muscle weighs more than fat, so no worries. So no bad news in my opinion! Congratulations are really in order! Keep going!
Im not a doctor but my doctor would say your not bad at all, and yes as you lose more it should get even better. You got this my friend stay carnivore 👍💥
Keep moving forward. The AHA guideline for blood pressure is 120/80 or less. The American Academy of Family Physicians guidelines are 140/90 with an ideal of 135/85 because 120 or less can be hard on your kidneys. Stay on track, move towards your goal and don't stress. That's as bad as anything else. 👊

Good for you, Kipp, doing weigh-ins again. 👍🏻 I think that might help you. You look & sound great-I know you’re excited about hunting season. 🦌 You had more good news than bad news. Keep it up! 😊
Enjoyed the walk and talk Kipp. Don’t worry too much about the high BP. It will keep getting better. I have been stalled in my weight the last month. I am not getting discouraged though. My body fat % is going down consistently even though my weight is not so I am happy with that for sure. Keep up the great work 👍🏽. I will too.
Your blood pressure doesn't seem that high. I think you should just stay focused on your weight. You're still a young man and definitely on the right track. Your future self will thank you.
I was thinking same - unless it’s different BP measurement in Canada - docs here consider 140/ high normal and over 200 to be panic mode- can happen for reasons more than weight. Such as continuous stress or having babies. You’re doing great! It’s inspiring- I have to get more serious too! Thanks! Happy hunting! 🎉
I like that you are a real carnivore that struggles. I recently started but struggled yesterday and today but will be back on tomorrow. For me I have issues with meat…which makes carnivore hard. But my pains tend to lessen by a lot when I eat only meat and that is a critical need for me. Hang in there!
We all have struggles to stay on plan as carnivores. Just stay strong and the longer you go in your journey the easier and easier it gets. Make sure you NEVER get hungry. That’s when you have the highest chance of falling off plan and falling into the “carb ditch”. If and when you do fall into the carb ditch, just dust yourself off and get back on plan at the very next meal and keep on truckin on down the carnivore road. I’m down 101 lbs over the past 630 days, I’m off all meds, reversed my diabetes, high BP, arthritis and joint pain, depression, anxiety and a lot more. Good luck!!😊
Ya you’re not alone. My wife has an extremely difficult time with meat. Over time she is understanding that she feels better when she cuts out the carbs and only eats animal products. Hang in there, it’s a process and give yourself time.
Keep grinding brother! Such an inspiration! We love hunting as well. Also, a loved one was recently diagnosed with NAFLD so we're gathering info regarding keto & carnivore and may land at Ketovore. We shall see. It will be worth it all dude! 💪🏼💪🏼
Keep up what your doing the BP will come down Try some natural ways to lower it Practicing deep breathing and meditation everyday willl bring it down. Love the shirt!
You might have what they call “white coat syndrome “. Your blood pressure goes up when you are in the drs office and is better at home. Did you tell him that your blood pressure is better at home?
Its the same with me. Fortunately I have a doctor who understands this and ask me to keep track of it at home and bring in the results instead of upping my medication.
I was on lisinopril for many years. I was 273lbs. Lost 111lbs. Still blood pressure was up. Found keto diet and in 3 months I was off blood pressure meds. I now fluctuate between keto, carnivore and now PSMF. One thing with me is I MUST exercise. I had an injury that must heal. I have another 35lbs to go.
You are amazing! Keep trying. I'm trying and struggling with you. I really enjoy your videos. You are honest. Thank you for encouraging me. Love your T shirt.
Well done getting out there walking Kip. The struggle is real when we get enticed by all the yummy bad foods we used to enjoy, but that got us into our unhealthy predicament. It's good to remember that we absolutely can reframe our thinking and totally override those desires. Everytime we say no to the grains and sugars, our resolve is strengthened and it becomes easier and easier to swat away the cravings if and when they arrive. After a year strict carnivore, I fell into a bit of an emotional slump, and decided to cheer myself up, with all of my old comfort foods. This became 6 months of abandoning carnivore, depression worsened, weight piled on and the pain in my joints unbearable. Kicked myself in the butt, and fully embraced carnivore again 3 weeks ago. Feeling much better already, it's as though my body is so relieved and knows what to do. Haven't had any of the early carnivore adjustments like running to the toilet like first time around, so I mustn't have completely wrecked my gut biome. Anyway, my long winded comment is for you, me, all of us who struggle. Keep walking the path, it works, and as Dr Berry says, "Take your vitamin P" for Patience. We'll get there if we stay the course. Sending love and encouragement from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️

Thank you for a great video. 😊
My bp will be 40 points higher in the dr office than at home. Get yourself an electronic bp cuff and take it while relaxed at home and keep records. My dr now does not even take my bp. She just asks to see my records
Me too! My BP is 33 points higher in the doctor's office. They have 'white coat hypertension' in my patient notes. It is a real thing. I got an at home BP test and check it myself now and it''s 105 at home but 138 at the doctor's office.. Next time you go to the doctor's office, bring your at home kit with you to take a reading of yourself while you're there to verify its accuracy.
Thank you Kipp! Idk why but you ALWAYS show up in my feed when needed. I have watched you from the beginning and I am currently working through similar struggles. Congratulations on your progress! Keep going! Persistence is the key, everyone falls short now and then, the secret is to just get right back on your path. You can do it!
You’re on the right track. Vitamin d3 + k2, magnesium taurate or glycinate, msm + vitamin c (L-ascorbic acid). If you crave, organic plain yogurt with pumpkin/chia seeds with berries will be filling. Keep it up!
If you need a snack, the whole fat Greek yogurt is loaded with lots of protein & more satisfying for you. Also, check in with yourself - make sure you’re eating enough at your meals.
The doctor needs to realize that as a larger man, you need to have higher blood pressure to get your blood to all your extremities. If your blood pressure is lowered chemically, you could have circulation issues. Numb hands and feet, etc.
Don’t give up!! You’re doing great, my blood pressure is always higher at the doctors office. It happens. Just keep it up on carnivore and as you keep losing weight you’ll be able to gradually get off of the blood pressure medication. I went to the doctor today and he cut my blood pressure medicine in half. I have lost 51 pounds and have 50 to go I have been on carnivore for 5 months. It will happen!!

You're doing great, man! Keep on keeping on! I struggled with BP for a long time as well(even after quiting drinking & smoking). I supped in 1,500 mg citrulline to help with nitric oxide & vascular health. Month and a half in, my BP started to come down. Just me, of course. Full disclosure; citrulline mixed with meds might not be safe. But meat? Hell yeah!
First time coming across you and your carnivore journey. Yay for your success. It’s hard. I find that while my cravings were gone, my emotional eating has attacked my children’s Halloween candy. No worries considering that you have fudged here and there. I think you are doing very well. Be proud numbers will get better. You have already come a long hard journey and you are winning.
I just started carnivore/keto a couple days ago. And I have chronic high blood pressure. AND I'm on FOUR types of medications, including Lisinopril. But 75-85% of my diet was carbs, sugar, pastas, potatoes, etc. so I have no one to blame but myself (oh, and maybe the food industry, LOL) But like you, I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. You are an inspiration for others. You're showing your family how much it means to be in their lives. Your kids need their dad. My mother died from MS when I was in my 20s. I'm so glad she was there for me when I was young. I had the balance of two parents in my formative years and it makes a big difference. Carnivore might have saved her life if we knew then what we know now. I have been doing it for almost a year and I feel so good. I go off track sometimes but I'm trying really hard. Best of luck to you on your journey.
Lisinopril gave me a bad dry cough as a side effect, Had to stop taking it, I'm on Labetalol, Losartan, and Amlodipine, But I also survived an Aortic dissection back in 2016, My pressure seem to stick at 140/ 80 , when I started carni, I was 270lbs and had lost 30. made it to 240lb, but I fell off after my dad passed away and went back to 260. gotta stick to the plan, keep on truckin keep going

Kipp! Look at you. You are walking and talking without getting too out of breath. Remember this is a life style not a fad. Keep up the good work. One day at a a time. I am on this journey of THE PROPER HUMAN DIET too. Down from 239 at 61 years old to 199 since January 2024. Today is Oct. 26, 2024. The scale will go up and down depending on the fluids in the body too. Just keep going. We are in this together healing our nation one body at a a time. God bless brother.
Smashing it, as usual, Kipp 👏👏👏👏. I had a thought about those moments of weakness. Maybe you could try hypnotherapy to banish thoughts of slipping back. My partner used to be a hypnotherapist and he helped lots of people change their lives. Just a thought.
Kipp, why not change your visit up at doctor’s office. You probably park your car in parking lot and you have to walk a good distance to get to doctor’s office. This may include stairs too. Then the nurse wants to check your BP…DO NOT talk while your BP is being checked. My nurse loves to ask me questions while she checks my BP. If your BP is high, then ask the nurse if she can recheck it one more time. If the doctor cared about your BP he would check your BP at the end of your meeting. Ask for that, and if he agrees…you will see a lower BP. Good luck Kipp!
My pressure was 145/100 for a long time, resting HR 85-90. 285 lbs . After proper human dieting and losing 100 lbs. , I now have pressure 110/75 resting HR 63 .Winning! I struggle and bounce and fluctuate and don't quite know why either. I am a hunter and killed a doe last year after decades of not hunting. Im not hunting this year.
My blood pressure is always higher at the drs office. They just have me keep track of it at home and then I tell them what it was. Also remember that food is meant to keep us alive it is not entertainment…food companies…ugh.

Good for you, Kipp, doing weigh-ins again. 👍🏻 I think that might help you. You look & sound great-I know you’re excited about hunting season. 🦌 You had more good news than bad news. Keep it up! 😊
So true Lynne. I am loving hunting.
Your on the right track just keep it up I know it’s hard but you will get there 👍😎
Enjoyed the walk and talk Kipp. Don’t worry too much about the high BP. It will keep getting better. I have been stalled in my weight the last month. I am not getting discouraged though. My body fat % is going down consistently even though my weight is not so I am happy with that for sure. Keep up the great work 👍🏽. I will too.
Thanks. I appreciate it big time Sean. You’re the man brother.
Your blood pressure doesn't seem that high. I think you should just stay focused on your weight. You're still a young man and definitely on the right track. Your future self will thank you.
Thanks for the tips.
@@yukonsusie thank you. I hope I get me a deer this weekend.
@@CarnivoreKipp nice! We are moose hunters way up north where I live (Royal We- I don’t hunt moose but I enjoy when friends get one)
I like that you are a real carnivore that struggles. I recently started but struggled yesterday and today but will be back on tomorrow. For me I have issues with meat…which makes carnivore hard. But my pains tend to lessen by a lot when I eat only meat and that is a critical need for me. Hang in there!
Bounce back my friend. I feel pain as well when off plan.
You are walking & talking so much better Kipp! Keep up the good fight (physically & spiritually)!
Keep up what your doing the BP will come down Try some natural ways to lower it Practicing deep breathing and meditation everyday willl bring it down. Love the shirt!
Thank you so much. I love the shirt also.
You might have what they call “white coat syndrome “. Your blood pressure goes up when you are in the drs office and is better at home. Did you tell him that your blood pressure is better at home?
This happens to me every time in at a doctor appt.
Its the same with me. Fortunately I have a doctor who understands this and ask me to keep track of it at home and bring in the results instead of upping my medication.
Yes and he agrees but still would like it a little lower.
@@QuirkyKerrieMe too the doctor always give me a BP monitor to take home I wear it 24hrs every time my BP is normal done this way 👍
I was on lisinopril for many years.
You are going to get there. Let’s go.
What is PSMF ?
What a nice, likable guy.
Wishing you all the best in your journey. Your accomplishments are greater than you think. Go Kipp Go! 🎉
Thank you very much. I appreciate your kindness. Thank you for watching
You're looking better than last time I saw you for sure. You have to give it a couple years and just keep walking a lot. Be patient
I love that t-shirt. I’d love one. Weather is getting warmer here so the right timing. Go Kipp.
Thanks I appreciate it. They got it on Amazon.
Just what I needed cause I'm struggling, you are an inspiration,I'm out walking in the morning, thankyou, good luck with your hunting,
I gave the thumbs-up several times during this video during your updates. Go get that Buck!
I’m so blessed that you my friend Kordelia. Wouldn’t be the same on here without you.
You are amazing! Keep trying. I'm trying and struggling with you. I really enjoy your videos. You are honest. Thank you for encouraging me. Love your T shirt.
Congratulations! Thanks for the video!
Thanks Tim. Appreciate you watching man.
Stay strong Kipp you are an inspiration to others going through the same thing as you. Very impressive that you can walk and talk with ease. All the best to you Kipp.
Thank you so much. It’s a blessing to be able to walk.
New subscriber here. Loved your walking and talking. I really needed to hear some of what you said and loved seeing the beautiful cotton fields! I’m new to the carnivore/keto world. I know that I’ve overindulged in carbs and sugars and they have wreaked havoc on my body. I need to remember my WHY and I need to remember that goals won’t be achieved by sitting on a couch or laying in a bed. Need to keep fighting the good fight on the daily! Thank you for a great video. 😊
Thank you so much for being here. Cute dog. 🐕 I am blessed to live in a rural town.
So proud of you, keep it up! Thank you as always for sharing.
And thank you for listening sir.
you are not alone, in times of challenge you can ask for help from above.
That is very powerful.
You are doing amazing 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼keep on keeping on🙌🏽
Thanks love the handle.
Hello Kipp, great content!! You're not alone. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you Isabelle. Love your name. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for reminding me I am not alone. You aren’t alone either.
Thank you Kipp! Idk why but you ALWAYS show up in my feed when needed. I have watched you from the beginning and I am currently working through similar struggles. Thank you for all your clarity and transparency - believe you me it helps more than you will ever know!! Sidenote- such a beautiful backdrop ❤❤❤
Thanks Bella. I definitely recognize your name. I appreciate you still being on the journey with me. Glad it helps you. It encourages me to keep going.
Hey Buddy... i love how you tell us about your journey. I started my carniviore on the 1st of February 2024... ive lost 38 lbs.. the one thing i have noticed is when i do STEPS.. and my legs feel better now...
Now i think about putting a 40lb back pack on and climb steps to get the feel that point i was feeling in January... my work always has steps involved... Just Think of Steps Brother.. You look way better now than when i first stared following you.. Keep it Rollin Dude... Cant wait to see that Venison Picture🤘😉👍
Keep it up!
Thanks. Appreciate you watching and sharing pointers.
Thanks for sharing that with us.
You are amazing and I love your honesty. My very best to you and your family. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good. Just keep at it no matter how many times you stumble. It took me 3 tries and over two years to quit smoking and that was over 40 years ago….never give up❤
I enjoy your sweet videos, Kipp. You keep it real. I'm so proud of you. Love seeing that smile, too. Thank you for inspiring so many of us. God bless you and your family! Happy hunting! 🥰
Thank you and God Bless you too.
You have a great mindset. I don't know you and only watched this one video, but I can say that I believe you will meet your goals!
Thank you so much. That means a lot. Also, thanks for taking the time to watch and it’s nice to meet you.
@@CarnivoreKipp I am a medical provider and started carnivore about 4 weeks ago. I love seeing the stories of people getting healthier and reversing diabetes with this diet. Keep up the great work!
Keep up the great walks, and your carnivore!
But meat? Hell yeah!
First time I have seen your channel. You are kicking ass! 🎉 Keep it up!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you watching. This lifestyle is such a blessing.
First time coming across you and your carnivore journey. Yay for your success. It’s hard. I find that while my cravings were gone, my emotional eating has attacked my children’s Halloween candy. So I’m restarting TODAY! lol
And that 3X shirt is a huge victory. So don’t just focus on your numbers.
Blessings!
One step at a time. The gift is in the present. Intuition is leading you down the right path.
No worries considering that you have fudged here and there. I think you are doing very well. Be proud numbers will get better. You have already come a long hard journey and you are winning.
Thank you so much Steve. That encouragement is truly appreciated man.
So happy to hear about your own journey, great work! Wish me luck in mine too! Look forward to seeing more from you in the future!
It’s so awesome that you started. Well to your new lifestyle. You are going to love it. Good luck. Y friend. Thanks for saying hello and hope to see you around.
Prayers for your continuing journey to better health.
Thanks Robert. I appreciate the prayers.
Keep up the good work. Be proud of yourself. You are doing the right things. Be patient with yourself and stay focused it’s going to take awhile. As you loose the weight you will gain more strength and you’ll be amazed how good you’ll feel. Stay off the couch start living your dreams.
Best of luck to you.
You are doing great. Keep up the good work. It will come. The weight did not get high overnight. Neither is loosing it. And your body is healing in the meantime. It takes time. More power to you. Hang in there.
What a joy to have come across your video. Kipp, I am 3 mos. into the carnivore life style. It has not been easy coming from a vegie diet. I have had to learn how to cook the stuff and eat it. Im getting better and have lost 16 lbs. Anyway thanks for sharing your walk. Keep up the good work. Peace out.
Keep pushing forward brother. That's how winning is done.
I just happened to see your video. Good for you on your size reduction!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️Keep up the great work!!!
It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for watching and appreciate the kind words on my weight loss.
Sorry to hear about your dad passing. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and I appreciate you watching.
You keep going bruv ,
Love from the UK, it takes time to heal bare this in mind it takes a whole four years just to get all the seed oils out the system 🙏
Thank you so much. Much love from the US also.
Hey! Kipp! good going! I'm in my 70's on a keto carnivore. However I have blocked arties in my legs. I'm should have surgery soon. I will see how that works out. I wish I had knew what you knew when I was you age. But got rid of diabetes and lost about 100 lbs. I the last 1 1/2. Best of luck!
First time viewer here. You are doing great, keep up the good work. To walk that much and talk the whole time speaks volumes about your lung capacity. I'm intrigued by carnivore diet, gonna look into it, too.
It is definitely changing my life for the better. Thank you for taking the time to watch.
Dude! You are looking good, sounding good, keep pressing forward! By all means have a 1ce a week cheat day but keep going! You got this! 🙏🏽🇺🇲🇬🇺🤙🏽
Thank you so much. I appreciate the encouragement.
Hi, i’m new here and I want you to know that you have a great attitude!! I only started 3 months ago and I find I’m arguing with myself about eating something I shouldn’t, so you’re not the only one! I’ll stick with it if you do!😊
Then let’s go Deborah. We are on this together for the long haul.
Amazing !
I'm impressed .
Much respect !
Thank you Jackie. I appreciate you watching.
stay on track kipp!
Amen.
Smashing it, as usual, Kipp 👏👏👏👏. I had a thought about those moments of weakness. Maybe you could try hypnotherapy to banish thoughts of slipping back. My partner used to be a hypnotherapist and he helped lots of people change their lives. Just a thought.
Thanks for the recommendation.
So good to see your progress! Struggling too!
Keep moving Kip. It's essential.
I agree.
You popped up on my screen this morning...thankyou for doin that..I needed to hear you....take care
Ide like to say thank you as well. I appreciate you taking time out of your day and watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
I think you are on the right track.
I appreciate that.
Just came across ur video, congratulations, ur doing well! A weight battle is one of the hardest things you'll ever go thru. No,ur not alone!!!
Thank you Rhonda. You are right it is hard but we aren’t in this alone. Thanks for being supportive. God Bless you.
Just keeping working on it you have been doing good
Thanks Kathy. Appreciate it.
Give it time Kip. It takes time to heal and your so much better than you were. Try to stay positive.
Amen. Such a great perspective. ❤️
Stay on carnivore and that blood pressure will go down to normal! Your weight will settle at what it is meant to be!
Thanks. I agree.
My blood pressure is always higher at the drs office. They just have me keep track of it at home and then I tell them what it was. Also remember that food is meant to keep us alive it is not entertainment…food companies…ugh.
Both statements are true. Thanks
Just keep trying don't give up over any slip up! Congratulations on your progress!!
