it's so idiotic that people dont see it. The NBA and its media needs to launch someone else to goat status to make money, hence the hate campaign and all means to downplay previous greats. Because the truth is that people will lose interest if retired players are goats, there isnt any money in that. Hence the fabrications, weakening of rules etc to make new players get better stats and hence more money for the NBA. And the idiotic crowd buys the bullshit and believes in it.... basically the NBA counts on the stupid public.
They are heavily going against RUclipsrs promoting MJ and other retired greats because it weakens the perception of the already weak NBA. The NBA is boring now and thats the truth

If defense had been played like that against LeBron his whole career, he doesn’t reach 40K. That era was pretty much the last dose of real basketball we got. On both sides, this felt good to watch. Out there competing the way they’re supposed to. Essence of the game on full display. Post up, mid-range, solid contests on drives and perimeter shooting, it’s all there. I miss this, man…😔

Never said there wasn't, but you said based on this season that LeBron wouldn't reach 40k against this defense, when it's one of his higher points per 36 minute seasons in his career and ONLY IN HIS THIRD SEASON. I'm not trying to argue that he's the goat, but rather that he would have reached 40k.

Carter was better than Lebron. You can see Lebron just struggling when defense was played.
The only reason Lebron is where he is now is because of poor defense and no one wants to block a tank coming down the road (tank being Lebron, who spends millions on his body)
Lebron is a good player, not great.
There are tons of players better than Lebron -Kobe, Magic, Vince, Allen Iverson... etc
