  • ROKR have just released a new wooden kit, the Classic Printing Press LK602! In this video I show you a time lapse of me building it, so you can get an idea how great this kit is to buy and build. When built the kit will be a fully functioning printing press with some beautiful features, moving parts and lighting!
    I have bought this kit with my own money, this video not affiliated or sponsored by Rokr.

    I'm very jealous. I really wanted one of these for Christmas but by the time my husband tried to buy it they were already sold out. He got me something else from ROKR. But I have a special place in my heart for printing presses. I took classes on book binding, and using printing presses, and such. I loved it so much. Hopefully I will still get a chance to get one of these.

    Excellent build! I just got one and will build it soon. I was thinking about painting the bears to give them some personality and adding in some gold highlights. Still thinking.

    Don’t think there’s anyway of adapting it to use with lino? Are you able to apply a bit of pressure? Cheers

      @theitalianmakesit  7 месяцев назад +1

      Ooooo...that is a very good question and idea! I think the lino is pretty much the same thickness of the plate where you put the letters!The only thing is that the plate is stuck on with adehesive... but also the ink pad has water based ink which I don't think it will work with lino!.... now I want to build another one to experiment with! Thank you! 😊

      Blimey, that was a long time ago but the springs were tricky and I had to do some juggling to get it in the right place!
