Great effort John. There's 7 stages total not 6 and the debris in the first level (bar the debris during the boss) gives you points whilst you land hits on it so it's worth shooting the crud out of it. It also slows the momentum down until it's slow enough for you to force it back with shots too! There's some expert skills for you!
I saw this on retromartin channel as well its a cool looking game, I do not have access to it which is a shame, because would have loved to give it a go :) well played mate
Hey John, yeah, I do love that game, quite hard, but I managed to beat it on sega CD too :) Well done! Also for the upgrade, you can pick where you equip them, like if you want your down cannon to have it you have to the it from the bottom!

It was released for the Genesis as well so you might be able to find a ROM 😉

Love the anime cut scenes on this
So many of the Japanese MCD games have anime cutscenes which is interesting to see compared to Mega Drive games!
