Hey there! Our LUTs are designed for Rec.709, which is usually the default in DaVinci Resolve. If you haven't changed your color management project settings, you should be good to go. Just ensure your project is set to DaVinci YRGB with Rec.709 for input and timeline spaces for optimal results. Hope this helps :)
I'm working in Final Cut Pro which has no Halation or Camera Shake effects. Any suggestions on where to look for those? I bought the master bundle and I'm loving your film grain and mattes but I can't get these looks in FCP without those missing ingredients...
Hi there! Same principles apply. Just follow the steps in this video. You may not be able to achieve the gate weave effect, but everything else is replicable within FCPX
Hey there! So we recommend using a conversion LUT from your camera manufacturer. You will basically apply this LUT within the 'basic corrections' panel, and only after it is correctly balanced, then you can apply one of our creative LUTs in the 'creative' panel.
@@KODYGnlp that's correct! They can be added on top of normal footage straight from camera, but for optimal results shooting in LOG and then converting to 709 is recommended. This is because you'll be able to capture more dynamic range and information compared to just shooting in 709.
Not necessarily! The only effect that cannot be replicated quickly in other programs is the gate weave/camera shake effect. Everything else can be achieved quite easily :)
We don't use noise reduction to achieve the film look, and the grain we use is not DaVinci's in-built grain - it's our own ultra HD scans which have better authentic texture and more variation
Been following you for years on instagram and HOW on earth I have not realized you have a RUclips channel. Such a great video sir.
You worked hard on this video, respect. I'd like to see where this channel goes.
this channel is underrated. i literally learned all you thought
So glad to hear this! Thank you 🫶
What color management project settings do you use? This step is often forgotten in tutorials and is essential to the workflow.

Hey guys, I would love to do a review of your master bundle. Collab?
What is the size in GB for whole bundle?
Thank you ! How did you convert your LOG footage to REC709 in the "Basic Correction" tab of Premiere Pro ?

If the footage is not shot in log and converted to rec709 can these luts be added on top of normal footage straight from the camera?
Yes, if your video is already in REC709 you can apply the LUT directly to it (without needing to convert)@@KODYGnlp

yeah but in order to get most of these fx settings in davinci you have to buy studio fo nearly 400 dollars ^^

Which software??
Any software! We're using DaVinci Resolve, but you can achieve this (apart from the Gate Weave effect) in any program :)
