Sounds like a plane to me, Arf, Arf! 2 distant booms as I was heading back outside and a flood followed in 2 minutes. Glad I closed up when I got done this a.m. Inside for the duration with boots off. Have a Grandbaby afternoon and GBWYall!
@@OldSneelock I'm racked back watching Taryl at the 2021 Thresherman's Reunion Steam Engine show with all the Roof mowers. Still too soggy to mow. Too bad, HA! GBWYall!
All these plane videos are getting to me, I just started restoring the Cheapy Block Plane I've had since I was a Little Kid.........I just gotta decide on the paint scheme, not sure if I should go with the original red & blue or do something different.....I have no red or blue spray paint so I may do something not original...........Green & Orange are a definite possibility going by what I have in stock and how often do you ever see a Green & Orange Plane? I'll have the only one.......... *The Pumpkin Plane*
I just picked one of those up at my favorite flea market in Rhode Island….paid $6.00. I’d heard only negative things about the 110, so I thought “what the heck? It’s only $6.00”. Mine has the stamped nickel plated adjustment wheel, versus the machined wheel….unsure year of manufacture…and just a bit of the decal remained. What I will say, with minimal cleaning, the black paint was good, the rust on the blade cleaned off with minimal effort (Naval Jelly and a sacrificial Harbor Freight brass brush), the sole needed minimal flattening….and the blade took an edge very nicely. I do have a question….your sides appeared to be black. Mine had rust on the sides, so unsure what it was originally. Anyway, I think it will be a nice small plane….certainly one that I’ll let my son make all his mistakes on! I enjoyed your video, sir.
I appreciate the no reserve for those of us with super tight budgets. You, sir, are truly a gentleman.
There will be others. I just thought that the first 3 were going higher than I expected.
He just can't help hisself!
Those are always a nice size for smaller projects!
They fit in an apron pocket or tool scabard for trim work. 😁😎
And it will last a lifetime or two. A 110 is a must have for any tool box.
My habit of buying tool lots has gifted me with several. 😁😎

Have fun. I will be.

110's were made for a long time and some version is still being sold by several companies. The black on the sides was original.
