I’m 40, ttc my first child and I would just like to say: FREEZE YOUR EGGS!!! God, I wish I had! ❤️ if I could tell my younger self something it would be this. It would cause me so much less stress, worries, and heartbreak every month.
Agreed. From a male perspective it also reduces stress greatly if a partner froze eggs. I would say it's best to do it twice or even 3 times: ideally at 35-37 but even a double egg retrieve at 38 or 39 defo worth it.
Thank you for your advice - I took the exact supplements you recommended and got 15 frozen at age 35 :) I did it in Spain which is more affordable but the doctor didn’t suggest any supplements nor giving all the detailed information (in English 😅) your videos really helped me along the way thank you ❤❤❤
I did one round a month before I turned 32- I only got 16 eggs. Now I’m doing my second cycle almost 2 years later. I hope I get another 16 at least since I know I want enough to feel confident that I’ll have 2 kids. It’s definitely not cheap- almost 10k a cycle.
Thank you so muchfor information. I will not freeze my eggs that's scary and high risk for me and my babies. Protect and being careful is always safe choice. 😊
Doctor what do you recommend for someone who’s been diagnosed with recurrent pregnancy loss and the reason is unknown. We have had 5 missed miscarriages in the past 3 years. One of those was at 19w. Is IVF with genetically tested embryos a good route or is not necessary since I do get pregnant?
I’m 34 and recently I found out that I might go through premature menopause which is really sad. AMH is really low 0.035 and high FSH 😢 is it even worth it to do egg freezing in my case?
It all depends on the quality of your eggs and the age collected will determine that factor. As a general rule 20-30 eggs put you in a good place for 1-2 live birth. But again keep in mind the quality of your eggs does play a big factor still.
What is a reasonable minimum amount of good, freezable eggs to achieve before giving up on doing another round of extraction? My doctor said 5 is a good minimum, but your example of 20 made me wonder. Also, how many freezable eggs in a single cycle is so few that you should just give up on trying another round? For example, if you get no freezable eggs in a cycle or just one, should you give up on doing additional rounds? This is coming from a woman of the ripe age of 43.
20 eggs at 38 gives a 63% chance of 1 live birth. It's around 37% chance at 42 so at 43 you'd need a lot, maybe 40 eggs just to have a 50% chance of 1 live birth. 5 eggs is no way enough... Your doctor's giving you false hope...
Thank you so much for your helpful videos! Maybe my question is too late here but I'll give it a try. I have wanted to freeze my eggs since a few years but have been turned down from several fertility clinics due to very low amh. I live in Sweden and clinics can be quite restrictive here. I have tried to tell them I have no expectations at all regarding egg-freezing as a guarantee for pregnancy but I would like to give it a try, maybe the fertilitymeds will work better than expected on me and I'm willing to do several rounds. But I still get a no from every clinic. Do you (or anyone with experience) have a recommendation or perspective regarding this? Thanks so much for taking the time to create this content - your videos are so helpful!🙏🌞
Hello, i just had my procedure and it didn’t give any egg 😢 I’m 36 and don’t have particular issues, except I have hair loose problem and my DHEA level is high, other hormones are I norms. So, I don’t know why it could not work ? Thank you.
Theres a lot of mixed press about egg freezing however renember this: people from 20 years ago woukd give arms away for chance to freeze eggs; its a numbers game so bank loads of eggs, as early as possible; dont put all eggs in one basket (do 2 or 3 rounds); and remember men want to know a woman froze her eggs when they date anyone of 36 plus.
Somebody answer me please…okay so my girlfriend is 41 and she has no kids but she really wants kids. So should she consider freezing them at her age? Or it doesn’t matter at this stage? We’ve had unprotected sex many many times and she’s never gotten pregnant or missed a period. Also I’d like to note idk if my lifestyle matters in all of this but I’ll be 35 this year and I’ve been a moderate smoker for about 16 years or so. Moderate meaning I only smoke around 10 to 12 cigarettes a day so would that affect my sperm quality? 🤔
Not sure where you’re based, but here in the UK, it is recommended that for women over 35, if you have been having regular, unprotected sex for over 6 months and have not become pregnant, to see your doctor to start the process for investigating for fertility issues in both partners. If it’s been over 6 months for you and your partner, I’d suggest making an appointment with your doctor, whether that’s a GP or ObGyn.
I cant wait til I start freezing my eggs soon. I'm 23 years old going on 24 and I really want to build my future family with my boyfriend. We both want twins first. Also, we both want a big family, a football team of kids so yeah 😄
As a society we don't understand fertility well enough nor the limitations of ivf from 40. Freezing eggs can be a great back up plan. Im truth though marriage should be properly promoted
Just have kids before you’re 30 or what ever. Because, it’s not promised the eggs will ever produce. Then, you no kids with all that money spent for nothing.

SAME!!!!! If I’m lucky enough to have a daughter I will be paying for her to freeze them in her 20s!
Dw it wont make it, I know it trying.... Maybe its for the best there are *hopes* XD
There are no guarantees with egg freezing. Only 5,000 babies have ever even been born from frozen eggs. Women can get pregnant in their 40’s. 🩷
Did you still freeze your eggs regardless

Approximately how many eggs do you recommend freezing?

Is COQ10 safe to take while breastfeeding?

I’ve heard taking CoQ10 is good but that you should stop once you find out your pregnant because it can be harmful in pregnancy. Is that true?
I just turned 25 in may should I start now? Or can I wait until 2025. I also have pcos

So true. Women (and men) are encouraged to waste time but best age for having kids is 26-36
