- Many wrestlers have came and gone from AEW, all for a variety of reasons but there are a few cases of wrestlers who departed from AEW and either aren’t welcome back or don’t want to return to AEW themselves. I liked Fish in the ring. He was good as long as he was in a faction. I didn't think that he was very interesting solo though. He went into business for himself in AEW. Who could trust the guy after that?

Has any wrestler been worse at PR than Bobby Fish. For a year or so he'd do an interview and talk shit about people and it kept him relevant but it pissed off a lot of wrestlers. In one interview he said he kicked out of the GTS at 3 because Punk gave him a signal to do it. Later he said he did it because he despised Punk. I feel this ended any chance of him signing with any major fed as it shows he's irresponsible. The guy is Ryback level toxic.
I'd imagine Gresham has the exact same sentiment as CM Punk when it comes to Tony Khan.
Let's be real his real octopus gimmick in TNA is awesome
It's clearly a creative issue that still exists to this day and I say that as an AEW fan.
Bobby fish is signed with MLW
The problem is Tony khan seems to only want to push who he believes is worth pushing and in his mind the shorter and less muscular the better because guys like Keith Lee Brian cage lance archer and powerhouse Hobbs aren’t even remotely on his radar
He only pushes those that get 5 star ratings from meltzer
Keith Lee became tag champs with Swerve not long after debuting. Health issues from long Covid kept him out. Then He was pushed again and about to finally face Swerve but got injured. Hobbs was put with Don Callis and was getting pushed, and them got injured.
Archer is currently making a comeback. But I don't think we've even glimpsed Lee in many weeks.

@dranzerjetli5126 I didn't even mention that TNT title reign. He was put in the Don Callis family when they were the top heel faction in the company.
He was definitely being pushed to the upper mid card before the injury.
Tony Khan is the one to blame. He keeps hiring wrestlers left and right they don’t get booked for anything and even if they do get booked it’s a damn squash match or for an inconsistent storyline. He needs to be stopped, he needs help, he needs to stay the hell off tv making piss poor announcements and get the hell off social media making dumb claims.
I want to like AEW so much but it’ll keep going on this decline and it’ll probably go down like WCW but not bought by WWE.
Now everyone wants him to sign Bobby Lashley like he’s gonna do anything to bring viewers in. Part of the complaints for him is he’s about exciting on the mic as watching paint dry, he’s good in ring but has no charisma
Here are some guidelines the Khans really should follow:
1) Segments of people just standing in the ring talking kept to a minimum (although they're already much better at this than I remember WWE being).
2) Except for "Dynamite" and "Collision" main events, no match over 10 minutes in length - and preferably even shorter than that in practice
3) As few squash matches as possible
4) No one gets more than one match per week
5) No established star goes more than three weeks without appearing on TV or at least being mentioned
You just want to hate him. I can't remember the last time he came out for an announcement. The same criticisms you have here can be used for every company at every point in time

Second the last announcement he made was for AEW at Wembley and that was last year and he made it way too damn early. His business decisions are poor let alone not smart and he gets butt hurt for criticisms and throws a fit on twitter. Now a smart business man would pay attention to the fans criticisms and make changes I mean look how WWE has shaped up recently. I’m not here to police your enjoyment for AEW I believe it needs to do better as a product.

I'm not sure what business decisions you're talking about - the ones that matter here are tv deals, we don't know about the next deal. Your idea of a business decision is just your opinion on what would be good - and everyone has those

WWE is the industry leader and has been since the 80s, not sure how it's fair to compare them with a nearly 5 yr startup

Bobby Fish didn't work in AEW because AEW were just picking up anybody and almost EVERYBODY from WWE (around the Vince Era) and did this for the fan boy marks. They thought that they could book them better then WWE did an that is why you had stables like Undisputed Elite. ( which does make sense because The Youngbucks turned on Adam Cole in ROH, kicked him out of BC and got Marty Sckull) Then, when Adam got hurt. They just dead panned Bobby Fish and let him go..Bobby then just continued to put his foot in his mouth afterwards....AEW is WCW 2.0

I’m 100% convinced at this point that Miro and Ricky Starks are going to run back to the WWE as soon as their contracts are up 0MG they missed the boat on both those guys the one criticism I truly 100% agree that they will put guys on ice and hardly ever use them. It’s beyondunderstanding
Miro doesn't want to work unless He's on top. He and His wife make good money from their non wrestling ventures.
I can't see HHH putting up with his attitude or putting him on top when they have so much talent. WWE also won't let his wife keep her website based on what happened to Mandy Rose.
If Miro does go back, one side is going to have to make huge compromises that don't seem worth it

@@flyguy7825 It has been reported on 2 sepetate occasions that He was turning down creative where He was pitched to lose. The reports where a year apart and He hasn't denied them.
It's possible but it isn't true, but it explains his absence and it makes little sense that He wouldn't clear it up if it was untrue
One thing I'll always complain is WWE not releasing Bobby Fish's Disputed theme made by def rebel, which was actually a freakin banger. Still, I wish someone leaks it

I think AEW bringing back Bobby Fish to tag with Kyle O,Riley would be a good move ReDragon could be AEW or ROH tag champs

The story of AEW in a nutshell seems to be throwing _everything_ against the wall.
And yeah, there's a lot of awesome stuff in that everything... but it's still a freaking disorganized, unplanned mess... AEW has the highest highs in wrestling right now and the lowest lows.
I've decided I'm going to miss The Boys. Brandon and Brent were an integral part of Dalton Castle's mystique, since Castle's shtick is a something of a tribute to pro wrestling's original "fantasy" gimmick, Gorgeous George (along with, of course, Elvis Presley and Liberace). He just doesn't look as good alongside the Outrunners. I don't think 1970s and '80s stereotypes go well together.
Ngl i would like to see Fish back in aew, there is so much potencial with strong, kyle and cole in there,
his run was soo fun fire matches with Danielson, Guevara and others and his great matches as redragon like the revolution one

When I heard about whipping out the PWI I did honestly laugh my ass off but knowing how Tony actually thinks that was really a 5 head move on Gresham's part.
I wouldn't mind seeing Bobby Fish in Japan. Maybe NOAH or AJPW might be good fit for him for a quick tour.

Pretty sure he admitted in any interview that he kicked out of Punks GTS at 3 because he hated Punk. Wrestlers can be forgiven for botches but I don't think any major wrestling company could trust him.
Also apparently post release he was trying to get Cole and Kyle to quit in the hope they could return to WWE as soon as HHH took over the first time before Vince muscled his way back in.
