"You can deny, it's up to you" - Wrong. If you deny a single permission those apps won't accept to go any further. Plus, did you just read the permissions you granted ? You basically gave them the entire control over your phone, the app can read anything it wants on the screen, go anywhere it wants on your phone and send all the collected data trough a remote server, they can even modify any apps your running (like updating the content that is displayed on your screen anywhere, anytime).
Thanks for this video but I think you should clearly state what is at stake here and what is the real cost of using such an app. The price to pay is too high imho, you're better to stick with a plain old mini cassette recorder you start close to your phone every time you want to record instead of opening your entire world (and your bank account for that matter) to an app you have no clue what they do with the info you re giving them. (They also do digital recorder now it seems)
Not every permission needs to be granted for an app to work.
Sounds like your saying people pretty much made this app to hack into other people's phone

Stupid review! It is not works at all on Android >=9. Did U check it yourself. you can record only yourself, but NOT the another side. The reason is well known.
Funny how he says "all you have to do is" and then goes on a wild tangent of like 11 things you need to do to get started. Looks like speaker phone and tape recorder for me lol

2. records in mp3(the other app i used did everything except mp3).
3. the ability to manage those files on pc(i have not found an app that allows this easily or at all).
4. actually has good audioquality.

I installed the same app you show in the video and jumped through all the hoopes and at the very end they showed a subscription option before the app could be used. Either you are not showing that or it's something they just started doing. I instantly uninstalled it.

I done the same but you can choose to ignore the premium option just by clicking the X on it and you can use it for free. However I uninstalled it simply because of audio reasons not playing the recordings back but that might have been my settings not sure.
In Sweden is totally legal to record calls. They even incourage it, if you've an dispute with in a company that said you never said that. You dont even need to say it if you're recorded. Some court cases accepts record calls.

You could try setting RUclips speed to 0.5% to see if that makes it more tolerable for you. I've done this a few times myself.
This app doesn't work its only recording my voice but its not recording the voice of the person am talking too

Lots of these videos are demonstrating with older phones running Android 8 or older.
However if you are on Android 9 or 10 recording the remote side is permanently disabled and you can forget downgrading as that is disabled as well (secure bootloader)

Same problem ... I'm using Samsung note 8 is there any solution to record other side voice....
I also use used it successfully (Cube ACR) for several years but this year it stopped working, it cuts the calls . . . in only leaves about 20% of the conversation total time. Any solutions ? I wouldn't mind paying a subscription but not very expensive.
I should be able to record both side of my conversations. I live in Ohio. Which is a one party consent state. That means as long as I'm one of the parties on the conversation, and I consent to me recording it then I'm not even legally obligated to inform them that I'm recording. I should be allowed to use these apps the way I have been for years. The fact that I don't even have the ability to do so is infringing on my rights.
So this app only records your voice not theirs too?

Hello, I just got my samsung note 20 but I'm not happy with the dialer, it's different from what I used on the note 9. Is there any way I could change it?
all i need is this:
1. simple design, yes or no to record. not complicated menus and weird stuff.
2. records in mp3 option.
3. can manage these files on my pc easily, drag and drop into folders and rename. even more helpful if the app itself lets me do that with the audio tracks. i can reorganize into folders name the folders and name the tracks. but i also need that ability of transfer to pc easy usually allow me to have more control over file transfer just drag and drop without restrictions.
4. good audio quality that records everyone on the phone and loud enough to hear.

You cant use those apps on android. Google doesn't let you do a phone call and recording at same time.
I always heard that in the U.S., recording phone calls is legal but if the other party isn't aware, it's not admissible in court. It may vary from state to state though. I have no idea about countries.

A two party consent state (only a handful of States have this) means both parties must be aware that the conversation is being recorded and both parties must consent. Again, check your local laws.
I need to look up interstate call recording laws. Thank you for reminding me. I live in Ohio. I know we're a one party state. Idk about the state I'm calling or federal laws
@@michelewalburn4376 Federal Law is also one party consent, which is reserved for conversations between you and someone else on federal property, like a the Veteran's Affairs.
Now, if I record a call from a one party state to any of the other 49 states, I feel comfortable recording. I think it can be argued and translated that if it's concerning two states, it's a federal matter and that federal law applies.
I'd still ere on the side of caution and contact a federal attorney to get a solid answer, especially if you plan to use this in a court setting.
If it's legal in your state, you are fine legally.. if the other party lives in a state that requires two-party consent, then your recording is not admissible in court

Restrictions on iPhones have nothing to do with the law, but rather, not opening up a port which will compromise phone security. This video could have done a demonstration on recording a real phone call.
Apple . . . for some reason doesn't like telephone recording apps on their phones. They "used too" allow them, but then removed [all] recording apps from their downloads site.

You can toggle the app off and on for whichever call you want to record or not.

my android version 11 blocks me all those call recording apps. In the other hand, my dad has android version 7, (and I had it too before) and it works. I thought android versions gets better and better with the updates. It seems the opposite now. I wish I can have android 7 again. Ugggh.

Just the user. You will have to go back to Android 9 for it to work both ways.

Don't waste your time with phone apps, get a digital voice recorder. Only solid solution to capture both sides of the conversation, then download it to PC later if needed.

Dan here.I usually make recordings of myself given 30 mins speeches but of sudden my phone only records just 2 or 3 minutes while the timer of the recorder shows it is recording the 30 mins but it does not, only records 2 or 3 mins..Please help .

As of the 11th May 2022, Google Playstore have cut off recording phone options. So not sure what phone or Android version this guy is using.... if you have a call recording app downloaded before this date, do not update it...

can you or anyone in the comments recommend how I can save the 10 voicemail messages I have on a phone before my carrier (Metro by T-Mobile) sends a reset signal on their end which will unfortunately delete ALL my voicemail foreverrrrrr!!! I have a Samsung S8+ and i am in the US and the call recorder worked while on Android 8 but the moment my OS was updated to Android 9, I could no longer hear the other person in the recordings. I was able to swap my phone and now i do not allow updates so that I can stay on Android 8. This sucks because AT&T and Verizon are continuing to force updates and I have to preform trickery to avoid updates. A salesman told me that the Galaxy S23 can record calls. Is this true?
The U.S. States that require BOTH party consent are California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

So even if they say "I don't give you permission to record," that is consent to record. If your recording has a warning voiced, then your golden. Insurance companies (and phone, and internet, and dish, and sales, and banks) all do the same thing: "This phone call may be recorded for quality purposes..." or something along those lines. You can tell them "I don't want to be recorded" till you're blue in the face, but record they shall one way or another. You may do the same. The only way they force you not to record is by not speaking at all.
