St Helens to Ramsbottom Round-Trip (112km Cycle) - Via Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Salford & Bury

Another day cycle, this time without trains! We headed out via Wigan and Bolton to Peel Monument in Ramsbottom before then heading into Manchester and then finally making our way home.
Plenty of points of interest along the route - Peel Monument, Gigg Lane (Bury FC), Peninsula Stadium (Salford City FC) and Manchester City Centre.
As you may have seen in the thumbnail - we bumped into a former Brookside star en-route (Brookside, Channel 4, 1982-2003 - RIP!) - you'll have to watch to find out who it was!
