@@karldaley4718 I got news for you, I have never seen a set of lights with a "Stop here on no signal." sign. And the road users guide for Qld states if the lights are non operational standard rules apply. ie give way to the right. It might be different elsewhere, your mileage may vary etc...

It happened to me with an unlicensed and unregistered driver. Lucky my witnesses thought he was dodgy and called the cops. He was parked on the side and just swung out as I overtook. Totally sucked, very glad I was insured
As a general rule I avoid U-turns on any road with traffic, as it's far better to turn left into a side-street or cross-street, then turn around where it's safe to do so! One technique I use is to pull over to the curb ahead of a residential driveway, then when there's no passing vehicles reverse into the driveway just enough to be 90deg to the traffic so I can clearly see in both directions & safely turn right! Along with being able to easily keep looking in each direction, it also has the advantage of legally crossing an unbroken-line as technically you are exiting a driveway!

100% if there’s a situation where doing the normal speed limit is interrupted by traffic ahead suddenly I am checking my rear view mirror for this exact thing. Sure, I am on the ball and can slow down smoothly and safely but who knows what the people behind me are doing. Yep, could've seen it coming from a mile away. However, bus is still ultimately at fault in the eyes of the law because heavy vehicles must clearly take up both lanes on the approach if they'll need to use both through the roundabout.

Person easily could’ve been looking right and they saw a gap which is why they put the pedal down a bit and only saw the car once they knew they were clear of the person to the right. It’s hard to look and concentrate on both right and straight in front. It’s also hard to anticipate the driver in front being an idiot.
Not always easy to do or advisable because you might be still assessing the full extent of what's just happened and you might be required to render assistance. Even if you or your cam can't see the rego plates, it's usually best just to stop, render assistance, hand the footage over to the police and they will be able to see from traffic footage elsewhere what car it is, including the rego, and then catch the culprit. But if you feel like you can chase them safely and reasonably, even if just to get a rego plate number, then I suppose just follow your own judgement.
Took me a while to find it, but I knew there'd be a comment about this. Really good vision by that driver and to get out of the way by a mere couple of inches too.
4:45 you are behind a bus, you see a narrowing road section coming up in front of you, knowing that a bus as a large vehicle is likely to cross your lane.. Do you A: speed up, get beside the bus, then be surprised when you get hit B: reduce your speed slightly, let the bus pass without incident and go on with your day, less 30 seconds.
So many moments like this, just like the 2 incidents of dashers laying on the horn when someone is trying to cut in on them in a merge. Yes they are assholes for trying to cut in on you but seriously you have a good 10secs to lay on the horn but can't just back off half a second to let them in and instead continue on to crash?
It is also law that a heavy vehicle is to place itself in both lanes if its not possible to make it around in the lane it is in (nsw heavy vehicle road handbook) Still the car driver is an idiot.

Wrong. DC was letting them in, had more than enough room but for some stupid reason people like the car in front seem to overtake incredibly slower than what the traffic speed is in front of them. Take a look and see how much room they had in front but because they were so slow in overtaking, DC smashes in to the dumb fucks. No sympathy at all. Hurry up and get in there, you're not a semi trailer. Overtaking that slow with 5 metres of room in front of you is your own fault.

I have a hatred for people joining a highway when they are on the on-ramp, they all speed up to sit right next to you for 100meters or so whilst their merge lane getting shorter and shorter. They fully expect the highway to give way to them and they join at 80km/h completely failing to match speeds causing chaos behind them at times, blissfully unaware.

Not always easy to do or advisable because you might be still assessing the full extent of what's just happened and you might be required to render assistance. Even if you or your cam can't see the rego plates, it's usually best just to stop, render assistance, hand the footage over to the police and they will be able to see from traffic footage elsewhere what car it is, including the rego, and then catch the culprit.
But if you feel like you can chase them safely and reasonably, even if just to get a rego plate number, then I suppose just follow your own judgement.

I have a hatred for people joining a highway when they are on the on-ramp, they all speed up to sit right next to you for 100meters or so whilst their merge lane getting shorter and shorter. They fully expect the highway to give way to them and they join at 80km/h completely failing to match speeds causing chaos behind them at times, blissfully unaware.

-Minimum of 12 90min blocks driving practice, with a driving teacher
-To pass the pratical exam, you have to drive at least 45minutes with your driving teacher and a independent examiner. One big mistake, and you have to do it again.
-Costs: Something between 1.200€ and 2.000€
-We may have overdone that a little bit, yes.
