@ZlimBratSki it's nice playing something (I'm only on level 1/2) that leans way harder to the clasical Doom end of the spectrum. After Selaco showed me how great the modernised and powerful end the Doom technology can be, i realised nothing would be able to top it for some time. As such, Supplice (so far) feels like a return to the faster paced roots but it also has great visuals, it has to be said. I intend to finish the demo and possibly get it :DDD
Thanks for the video. Turns out I already purchased some of these and they are just on my backlog. I have been very hooked on Bloodshed for the past week or so. Really looking forward to the new content in that one.
I will say one thing about Impaler: while the game itself is not everyone's cup of tea, but it does have great soundtrack, which is extremely rare in modern games. Fusion Rock type, reminiscent of the early 2000's Derek Sherenian, (only not as good, duh). For 3 bucks (it's on sale now) - it's a good deal for the soundtrack alone...which can always come in handy when playing something else, that is devoid of such luxuries. In my case, that would be Dread Templar... Or you can just add it as a bonus to the Molecular Heinosity/Black Utopia albums.
I not a fan of Survivors-like game myself, but Bloodshed is a really good one. That's what happens when you blend the genres properly! Happy New Year 💜💜
Again, just amazing stuff you put out there. I apologized earlier, but I did not Wish You a Merry Christmas (don't even get me started on the Happy Holiday crap). So I hope these days spent happily and again, it is insane that even at this time of year you put out these great videos. Never change, man; I see a great future for content creators that are this consistent. I believe we will not be discussing great games until the New Year. So Happy New Year to Your great family and You! (oh...and you know me....never forget about They Come From Dimension X). Cheers!
Well said, well said. I second that. Happy New Year to Zlim, you, and all the folks on this channel. May it live long and prosper (couldn't help it, lol) and may the gates into the great world of videogames remain ever-welcoming to us all.
I’m surprised more FPS games haven’t copied the Survivors template, it translates brilliantly. Vampire Hunters is such an incredibly good time. I will say that Bloodshed felt a bit disappointing; the power fantasy isn’t quite there, the weapons lack feedback, and I feel like the passive upgrades just aren’t noticeable. It feels odd only having one active firearm at a time. Still, I like it enough to keep it wishlisted, and you can tell the devs are a talented bunch.
I totally get what you mean. To me it felt different though, I liked the less "crazy" approach, it felt more controlled in a way. That said though I was shifting between bloodshed and hunter when playing so that could have made the difference between them more nice for me :)
In that regard, i would recommend the Faithless Trilogy mod, not the OG Heretic nor Hexen. Right now it is THE best conversion based on that universe. The best, until i launch my Heretic revision demo🤪. Which is this January...But the OG games have aged very poorly, especially. compared to the mods for them.
By far the closest to an actual FPS (Impaler's gameplay is very FPS too but the basic arena makes the level full-on Survivors/bullet-heaven) but when I tried the demo (and it seems to hold true based on Wanderbots' gameplay) build variety was very low. Maybe it gets better with unlocks but I doubt there's much to unlock in the way of gun build variety for now
These kind of games remind me of the serious sam series and i didnt like them so much. Neverending enemy waves and shooting all the time is not my thing.. i like boomer shooter with a retro look but need a story or mission in the game.. just shooting and looting endless waves is getting very boring to me. So thank you for the video, i can take these games from my wishlist
There are major differences between these and Serious Sam. These as an example offer depth on how you build your character with the abilities for each run, also runs as deep as to what character you pick depending on their attributes. Here the goal is to become an ultimate killing machine as in serious Sam the goals is to move forward
I hope this genre of FPS survival will die in its infancy and not turn into dozens of similar clones. This came from the dull vampire survival which already has dozens of clones, now unfortunately it has reached FPS.
@@endrgar Its a great game. Simple and easy to understand at first but has enough secrets to discover, mechanics to learn and weapons/characters/maps to unlock to keep a player hooked. There is nothing quite like it.
Thanks for watching broskis!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Bloodshed is so good! I've completed all the objectives and still coming back for more.
It is dang good! It feels so polished and it's hard to get tired of it!
Vampire Hunters is pure mainline dopamine, happy new year Zlim, 2025 shall ne boomtastic! 👌🏻
Dopamine for the freaking win!! Happy new year broski hope you had a blast!
Hey Zlim glad youre doing ok brother. I'm playing Supplice demo and love seeing your latest gaming compilation
Nice! how are you liking supplice? :)

Hell yeah! Bloodshed is so freaking good and in february new content drops :D
I've been trying to get people into Impaler for a while. Always nice to see when people say nice things about it.
Also, funky AMD shirt!
Thank you! Won it in an expo 😁

It does have a great soundtrack I agree! I love it when there is one enemy left and you can just enjoy it as your calming down from a hectic wave
Nice, I gotta check out Impaler... that looks pretty sick.
Its on sale for $3 right now 😁
Some great recommendations!
Thank you broski Emil :)

When done right it can satisfy just about anyone 🤘😁

Good stuff as always.
BTW I'm really enjoying SULFUR, do you know about any other SP Extraction Shooters worth checking out?
Glad your enjoying Sulfur! I really cant think of a game that played quite like it out there :(
I could use some more Magic Weapons in my Shooters, not just spells but ACTUAL magic powered guns
Vampire hunters have plenty of those :D
Did you ever play Hexen/Heretic? They weren't traditional guns but in effect some weapons were.
In that regard, i would recommend the Faithless Trilogy mod, not the OG Heretic nor Hexen.

Vampire Hunters and Bloodshed are amazing! but Bloodshed i like a bit more! Impaler is not bad but I quickly got bored!
Did you get the chance to try out Impaler gold with the collectathon? :D It's a weird game mode but you might find some joy in it
@@ZlimBratSki Yes i played gold! I also had fun with it but not so long unfortunately! but hey its 2,99€ so i can't complain anyway!
AMAZING VIDEO :D Oh and FIRST!!!
YOU ARE AMAZING!!!
All good games! ☺
Viganteee is good! :)
Are any of them coop?
Unfortunately nope
HA FIRST HA! Now to watch the vidya
WINNERRR WINNNEERRR CHICKEN DINEER!!! :D
Bloodshed seems best
It's great, no doubts :)

Well it's a damn satisfying genre filled with dopamine and fun. And don't worry I'll sort the good from the bad ;)
Vampire Survivors is one of the best games out there tbh.
@@panthekirb7561It's possible if you don't play games at all and launch such garbage for the first time, but even then it's unlikely.

Man, I love fps games, but roguelites just aren’t doing it for ole boy
But these survivors like while being roguelites in the soul feels and play very different from your standard roguelite like say roboquest or deadlink
