Neil got his friend to supply two trucks for this
He did!!!!!!!

Oh my god, "Ass" was inspired by the "Lost?!" line-read in SH2?
Amazing, the best skit.
I love the whole original video, but the way he says “ass” bring me back again over and over. It’s so funny!!! 😂😂😂
neil and kevin running around in the fog at the beginning made me smile so damn much-
No bcs it's something about Neil playing in the fog... Just ljadkDNCJIADCIHBADIDUNVIUEQFOAOVMADLVN
I remember thinking "Hey, the Jim Varney Library looks a lot like the Weymouth Teen Center." And holy crap, it was! Now I'm rewatching and I know the Asscar street, and my grandfather is buried in the Heartbroken Gravedigger's cemetary.
This video is now part of Weymouth's storied cinematic history. What history, you probably didn't ask because you already stopped reading? How about history like that Johnny Depp movie Blow, about Weymouth's own cocaine smuggler George Jung? They didn't actually film here, though, they recreated his childhood street in South America. But the Mark Wahlberg movie about the Boston Marathon bombing built and filmed storefront sets on the old Naval Air base, and they're still there. I think the new Ghostbusters also filmed some shots there but...yeah.
We're also home to Children's Hospital's Rob Corddry, and Marcy Carsey, who produced the Cosby Show and Roseanne, but she asked people to please stop mentioning that. Tobin Bell, (aka Jigsaw) grew up here, as did Hal Holbrook, who was born in Ohio but raised by his grandparents in Weymouth, in a house which is now the Weymouth Historical Society.
And now you know more about Weymouth then the people who wrote that episode of Fringe who clearly did no reasearch on the Fore River but it was still cool to hear it mentioned on tv.
I miss Paperama.
i agree with all of this.
@@themanwithoutaplan Oh also my brother immediately recognized your matte black truck.
@@talkingpractice9169 really? Hahaha. Perfect. Gotta make all my shitty 80s trucks and Vans Weymouth famous hahaha.
Neil the way you make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches genuinely scares me. How do you swipe that knife against the bread like that??? It’s amazing but terrifying.
I think I’ve said that before but offtopic I love your profile picture a lot. I’ve never seen anyone who liked Mobile haha
38:10 "my fake Jonathan Frakes" - a "Jonathan Fakes", if you will
WHAT ABOUT GRANDMA'S TYPEWRITER
A total fabrication
It never happened.
It's bullshit.
Not fact.
It's made up
"The fake credits are fun. Like, one of them is an anagram for Daxter Flaxter"
"A lot of these stories bridge into the next one"
Is anyone else thinking what _I'm_ thinking? That maybe, just maybe, all Guaranteed* Videos take place in the same universe?
I always assumed the 12:35 joke was not suggesting the full version just sat there for the whole minute, but rather that 12:34 is so impossible, the producers wanted to ease viewer minds with a more reasonable time display.
Oh my god they dropped Granny's Typewriter and never went back to it. Gesuz fug.
I would also love it if Australia changed their named to Graveyard
Do you regret this now?
the witch doctors curse is the funniest joke in the world and i everytime i remember it i die laughing
I'll have you know I managed to catch the "12:35" gag
It was really obvious, because it would be insane if it read "12:34"... brrrr, spooky!
I'd love to see more retrospective stuff like this looking back at earlier videos, like new kids on the rock or Hollywood east TV skits. Really interesting to hear behind the scenes and the writing / shooting process
We actually have a handful of these up at GuaranteedVideo.com!
0:09 Neil and Kevin running around and playing with the smoke here reminds me of the Halloween parties I had in elementary school
Wow I assumed you just copied the fog searchlights from the original show. It looks perfect!
We now own two DJ lights, thanks to that shot!
I LOVE that you guys have kept the 90's-early 2000s TV vibes but also that you've brought back video commentary.
can't believe neil renamed australia to graveyard. can't believe i live in goth country
This is mostly just them patting themselves on the back about their own jokes for a really long time and I love it I love the shit out of this I LOVE THIS, I LOVE THIS, I LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS, I LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS, I LOVE IT, I LIKE WATCHING THEM APPRECIATE THE GOOD JOB THEY DID, YOU DID A GOOD JOB
that sketch was absolute gold
so uh, if you wanna get Jonathan Frakes to say "it's bullshit" he's available on Cameo 👀
Why does them explaining the jokes actually make it funnier
28:27 "A hairy slope," now that's a metaphor I have never heard
Knowing that the lighting effects was practical makes it so much better, because it looks so fucking cheap in the final.
I caught the 12:35 Kevin, it wasn't 100% in vain
I just noticed this on my 3rd watch
Had no idea fluffernutters were a New England specialty! I used to eat them all the time as a kid, and I’m in Wisconsin. My parents aren’t from out east or anything, so idk where they got it from.
Australia isn't the goth nation of the world... but we were the Gough nation of the world...
Enticed me with Neil playing in fog like waving food in front of a dog. Great starting clip
"Sardo, basically."
Myself & anyone else who ever saw a Gary episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark now has a perfect mental image of this character. Thank you, Kevin. :)
Marshmallow Fluff is a thing outside of New England.
“Mr Sardo!”
No mister, accent on the “dough”
The scream you used is used very prominently in Command & Conquer, specifically when you kill civilians, iirc.
Yeah I was going to say, this was totally some 90s vidya game scream stock sound effect
They totally nailed the music stuff.
Was on point.
I always love all of the effort you guys put into these videos!
This show was my jab back in the late 90s. While I know a lot of people who remember this show, fewer remember Fox's version of America's Funniest Home Videos called "World's Funniest" hosted by football icon and commentator James Brown. I can barely find any footage of it's existence at all.
Millennium was a great show that gets no love. Not even on streaming. Worked as an assistant DP on the show & glad I got to hone my skills thanks to Chris Carter & the wonderful crew behind it. Lance Henriksen is an iconic character actor.
TFW the behind the scenes is logner than the actual thing
Uhhhhhh yeah
@@michaelmoratto Yep it usually takes longer to make something that it does to view it. Except for, idk, improvised jazz.
It'd be weird if it were shorter
Thank you for the Building 19 reference! I really liked that one.
Even this video gave me a good laugh. Love you guys. Keep up the great work! 6:25 and 10:40 had me dying. So good. *edit* 24:16 Just gets me more and more. It really does have that old playstation bad voice acting vibes. So damn funny. "He had all the high scores at the arcade" Agian, I fucking love you guys. 34:22 That's a fun way to create stories. Didn't expect it to be something from the news either. Clever shit.
39:22 - 39:35 LMAOOO
He clips the puck to Bobby Orr.
He shoots. He scores!
WICKED CICIEREGA!
I clocked the 5 under the word FICTION- but I took it literally. Like 4 never existed. There were many lols.
Fluff is a New England thing?
I was under the impression it was a Midwestern thing.

“Everrrrr gonnnnnne mooooounnnntainnn biiiikkinggg”
Needed a drink Jonathan Frakes cameo.
These behind the scenes videos are really enjoyable.
Robert Z'Dar is in the Ring Toss one, but I don't think Joe Estevez's acting buddy from Soultaker counts as a celebrity guest. Also he's there for like 2 seconds.
"arrestable" is a descriptor i did not expect to hear today
This is helpful and fascinating; plz don't stop.
Gothralia
wait, wait, WAIT.... at the end did he pronounce Neil as "nye-all"??? HAVE I BEEN SAYING HIS NAME WRONG FOR 20 YEARS???
This was a really fun behind the scenes look at things.
Aww, I like Amazing Stories :(
That was my after school tradition for a year when it reran on Sci-Fi. Go To Head Of The Class, Mirror Mirror, Welcome To My Nightmare, and the remake of Secret Cinema are all really good episodes. Neil saw what was easily the worst of the series. Definitely recommend checking those one's out.
This is just beautiful
It wasn't based on Unsolved Mysteries. It was based on Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction
I wanted to hear about Grandma's typewriter :(
so great!
I mean I watched the show when I was young and this was so hilarious
loved the 12;35 easter egg
They had to use a 300mb SD to film this short too
22:40 Is that a two trucks reference?!
I wish they had made 100 of these.
i caught the clock saying 12:35 the first time i saw it and it made me laugh :)
I NEED SOMEONE TO LIP READ EVERYTHING THEY'RE SAYING
21:55 Anyone know the sound effect wiki URL? It sounds really interesting.
what camera was this {or the PBJ scene) shot on?
Some kind on Sony?
I shot the entire thing on an A7S, but I did plenty of work in post to make it look more dated and cheesey.
I caught the 12:35 gag, I got ya
When you going to do Unsolved Mysteries though?
can we get a goth country tho I'd like unironically love that
Ripley's believe or not was kinda fucked up sometimes... For a 9 yo me, at least.
I hope Neil is working on another mashup album
well didnt this age well!!
I come from the future. Your prediction is right!
*not even this is worth it, go back. do not come to 2020*
6:40 *very nervewracking 2020 foreshadowing?*
please do not diss Amazing Stories
neil why do you make sandwiches like that
22:42 making love-
Yep
To bad I really thought thus was real
