- A long CSX tank train with Canadian Pacific power hits the diamonds next to the perfect place for railfans to live! The steep railroad crossing would be fun to hop but don't do it son! This train is in North Baltimore, Ohio near Toledo. The defect detector can be heard on my scanner giving the axel count. Millenniumforce, Quacky Louie Adventures and I stopped here as a random place to hope for a train. I heard the train approaching on the scanner, 160.230 if I remember correctly. I was actually here years ago before I had a RUclips channel. I stopped here on my way back from Fostoria, Ohio in the days before they had Iron Triangle Park. Back then it was just a junk yard with some old brick buildings. Anyway, we stopped here on our way back from the same place. The house that sits at this crossing would be the perfect place for railfans to live. They could watch trains on both lines but if it was me I would cut the trees in the front yard so that I can see the trains better. The train that we saw was a westbound unit tank train that had just came through Fostoria and was headed toward Chicago. For some reason there are a lot of break shoes laying around here. Diamonds are always interesting. I love the sound of a train hitting the diamond. Listen to that and leave a comment. Filmed June 12, 2021
Thanks for watching!
Please thumbs up and watch another JawTooth video to help my channel.

'Toothy in the sky with diamonds'. The best Dooth.
That tank train equals all the beer I drank this summer , keep em coming .
Yes, I love the sound when the cars roll over a diamond. That's music to my ears. In Germany, we only have such diamonds on trams or at industrie rails. Greetings from Berlin/ Germany. Sven
Oh nice JT. A FAN FROM GERMANY!! That's really great.
Thanks for dealing with the heat, Jawtooth. Love watching the live action with a cup of coffee. Chessie is the best!!
Jaw tooth and tracks dimands for trains ❤ 😊
Great job, thats is some of the Canadian oil. No pipeline the trains will run.
Great point! Safe good jobs too
The bidding on KCS started the week after Biden cancelled Keystone XL. Have fun with that.

Yep, I just verified it! I was curious, looked up the UN Dangerous Goods # for this commodity. UN 1267 is listed as "petroleum crude oil," Class 3 Flammable Liquid.
(Just a habit with me. Goes back to when I was a safety officer for a major US airline. Dangerous Goods was my specialty.)
@@user-zr3wx3rs2y English, please.
Good catch. Stay cool. Thanks for all you do.
Can you Imagine 🤔 Anyone Living anywhere Close to a Diamond ? You would Go Crazy Quickly.🤪
Those brake shoes are perfect reason why you stay back.
Does Millennium Force have any other clothes or just many copies of the same shirt and shorts?🤪🤣
LMAO!!!!
Those Diamonds sound as though they take some real punishment. Great video son...
I always like seeing old cars like the Soo Line one at the end.
Hey Jawtooth, awesome video today!!!
Hey, thanks!
Epic Video JT, thanks for sharing 👍👍😎😎
Nice video. Chessie is looking great as usual. 😊👍🇺🇸
Cool train video.
Today seen and sound is very peaceful .I'm lail fan and Jaw tooth fan .
The sound of the train going over the diamond reminds me of Warren Zevon's song Night Time in the Switching Yard--Listen to the track.
I've been there - its right by the Petro Truck Stop in North Baltimore. I stop there all the time when going to Toledo or delivering to the Home Depot DC just south of there on I75.
Cool! I would make that a regular gas stop also
I go to the iron skillet for the breakfast buffet
Galatea, OH. The double track is the CSX Garrett Sub (former B&O), and the single track is the former Conrail Western Branch, now also CSX.
Thanks for the info.
The diamond provides some neat percussion there - could sample it for an album! Another great one, JT - thank you.
Woo wee! That’s cool!
“That be a great place to live” lol all them trains I would have to move
A distinctive sound crossing the diamond. Another quality video. A great way to start the morning, thanks!
Yes it is. Most of them around me have been replaced withe the low maintenance type diamonds where the flanges run on the rail and they are quiet.
Lovely sound across that diamond.
Back when I was a truck driver, I use to park at the Petro Truck stop and watch the trains on that Diamond. That railroad crossing is relatively new. That is the CSX Cleveland Chicago line, crossing the old Conrail Toledo Columbus line. Because CSX already has the old C&O Toledo Columbus line, CSX does not use the old CR line very much.
Just wonderful just awesome I am hooked on your videos thanks for getting the shots
Awesome, thank you!
Awesome video. I am a huge train fan.
its a very special dog, chessie.very smart.thanks voor the video Brian.i say tomorow hello for you on Tony, she likes it. greetz:Peer.
Love the sound of tankers 😍
The only thing about the diamond is the noise when they go across them when your sleeping
Like subway cars - they develop a rhythm of their own!
The sound of the axles
Nice 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
love your vids and esp like you sharing you puppy with us... thx
Great vudei my Jaw! As you told, the house just in front of the track should be a really good railfan spot to live ;)
That one set of CSX tracks will take you to another great set of diamonds in Ridgeway.
Good video!
Thanks!
That was some train. I love diamonds. I saw somewhere a couple years ago a company had designed silent diamonds in response to people in the neighborhood complaining about all the noise.
Very cool!
It is great how you keep finding these new locations to film! Start the video son!
That's the plan!
I enjoy the train videos and especially your doggies at the end!
Chessie is a sweetie.
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Thanks! Will do!
Home seller to potential buyer. "The train only passes one time a day". What came first the railroad or the most affordable house in the neighborhood?
Other than that, cool video, thanks for meeting up with the train to share this with us.
I'd bet that neighbor's house could had for almost nothing............ I'm sure a night train can be heard for miles around......... BAH HUMBUG.
Still love you videos !
Aw Chessie, bless her xx
Pretty neat! I wish we had some diamonds near where I live. I've not uploaded much since Britt, as my job started again full time! But I do have some stuff planned! I like the one grainer at the end... as if the railroad said "oh whatever, just stick it on this train." lol
They are called buffer cars. They are there to hopefully protect the tank cars, in case of a collision.
Very cool videos I also like the way you include your best friend your dog in the video awesome very cute
Great video. You have some great locations in your videos. Looks hot outside, try to stay cool.😁👍🇺🇸🐕
Thanks 👍
He needs a woven Panama hat for hot weather. And we need to hear that guitar at the end!
I didn't realize how loud it is when that train goes over those diamonds. I like tracks work like that. Great video as always. Better than the National Geographic channel, at least for me.
JT, good catch on the SOO LINE car !!!!
Cool find
According to Rail Guide both are CSX. Double track east/west is B&O heritage while single track north/south is former NYC
You're in the small community of Galatea, Ohio. That's east of North Baltimore, and next to the east side of I-75.
Like 134 beautiful video, greetings 🚂👍🙋♂️
Many thanks!
Cool pic of you with the Gibson explorer nice guitar Jaw Tooth and cool train videos keep up the great work son!
CSX with Canadian Pacific. Never seen that before.
FYI... Right now "The Polar Express" is at the St. Louis Union Station. And starting on November 19th through December 20. It will be pulling out and back in for their On Board shows. It was on the morning News today. Just look up Polar Express at St. Louis Union Station.
Love your channel. ❤️🎅🙂
Nice one.
You find the most interesting places.
Foamers of the world UNITE. Another great video JT. Keep up the great work for those of us that cannot get out.
Another diamond. Fantastic. Peace
Love to hear the sound of a long train on the single track crossing the double diamonds.
119 including locomotives that's a lot of crude being hauled making Warren Buffett mega bucks.
Cool video Jawtooth. Long train too👍👍👍❤️
I really enjoy listening to the train going across the diamond. It has a nice calming effect. I would probably hate to live next to it though. Nice Video!
AC/DC's "Moneytalks" comes to mind when I see a unit train of oil cans. Sometimes CP will double up oil returns with 2x2x0 or 2x1x0 for power distribution out here, usually 800+ axles. Sad seeing the old Soo Line hoppers reduced to buffer car service.
i only see foreign power trains and soo line hoppers because of these oil trains
U do good job getting train gates begin and end. Love the noise of the tracks
Thanks 👍
Pretty cool stuff Jaw Tooth!
And yes, both lines are CSX, I believe the north/ south line was the site of that runaway locomotive that juveniles set free and rolled for many miles south on that line a bunch of years ago minus a crew... scary. I've been a long haul flat bedder for 34yrs now and we go to many of the same places, I hope to run into you(not figuratively) some day, I enjoy your vids all the time, keep em coming!!!
Good live action Son ...No DPU's ... Good vid 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍 Have a great week Eddy!
Excellent tanker train JT!!!
Nice real cool love the audio click click thought I might see hobo shoe string on the last Grainger 😀
What a crazy long train!
Very good video. Love the sound crossing the diamond. I believe 116 cars.
Cool, thanks
when you said Heavy Tank train , ℹ was thinking Military 😝🔫 DUH !
Nice location, nice long train, nice video
Chainsaw12181943,like hearing trains pound the diamonds, reminds Me of the old jointed rail, like the Ethanol and Crude Oil trains.
Slamming the Diamonds !!! Makes for awesome sounding video, there JT !!! Thanks !!!!
Awesome video jawtooth those tankers are epic idk if you've ever noticed or heard about trains pulling military tanks down the lines at night but if you ever do that would be a sight to see
I miss my dog, Duke. Like the train videos.
I wish dogs lived longer. We have a dog graveyard by our pond. I have had some really great dogs in my life
I miss my dog Reed. I like the train videos also.
Great stuff cheers. Chris from England
That North-South single track at the diamond (Galatea), was the former Conrail Toledo-Columbus line running thru Bowling Green, Findlay, Dunkirk, Kenton and Ridgeway, Ohio
Thanks for the info!
@@JawTooth Thought that line Toledo - Columbus was former C&O maybe that's a different one that goes down to Russell Yard? That line must be the one that crosses at Deshler and at Fostoria the Toledo sub.
As a trucker. Ive stayed there at the one truck stop that's close to that Dimond. You can hear the trains as the pass over the dimonds. Very noisy
This is a neat location! You have anisolated road crossing the CSX double track mainline that crosses a north/south single track line. And to the south of the CSX mainline was that house that a railfan would love to own! Thank you and MIlennium Force and Quacky Louis Adventures for taking the time to stop here and capture the westbound CSX tank train with some Canadaian Pacific engines behin a CSX engine proving power for the train!
very cool
I like train videos on RUclips jawtooth 👍
That was a bloody long tank car train. Don't seem to see to many unit trains thanks to PSR. Curse Hunter Harrison
Mark from Melbourne Australia
That looked like a typical length train wasn't PSR related seems longer because it's going so slow.
@@maxrshelltrack7443 i know that BNSF oil trains are limited at 35 mph for security. However, i dont know how CSX handles this
Hi jawtooth hope ur OK pal I enjoyed that video wow it was a noise long one I wish I could see all this in real time and real life but I carnt yet I hope to come over to america my dream but ur keeping me and a lot of folks entertain nice one mate keep safe godbless you and ur family,
I've noticed that around here, too. I've always wondered about that why the hell there are brake shoes all over...I mean, do they just lose brake shoes a lot? Talking about finding weird thing...I remember up in Pomona, there was a spot there off the SP where the was a car axle. Not a whole truck, but, just an axle. It was all rusted and had obviously been there a LONG time. It was about 100 feet off the track...like someone had put it there and forgot about it. It was the strangest thing! I don't know if that was a remnant from a wreck or derailment or what.
Nice tanker train.
Waooo, mic 🎤 drop! I guess people will agree with me Jaw tooth presentación is dope?
Great Video. I loved how you got the whole train with both buffer cars into the shot.
Living next to that diamond might be a bit nerve wracking. I grew up a mile from a mile line and used lie awake at night just listening to the different horns. I remember the Santa Fe passenger train horns were very special.
Great video! Those are the CSX Toledo Branch and CSX Willard Subs. The Toledo Branch going North and South and the Willard sub going east and west as you mentioned regarding the west bound tanker train that just came from Fostoria. I would love to railfan here some time, I saw this place when I was heading north on I-75 returning back home after a 3 day trip to Columbus.
Another great video from Jawtooth, not disappointed.
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the sound that train made going on the diamond . Almost musical .
Nice video.from Japan.
Thank you very much!
Cool crossing
Great Catch, good Job, Keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
Awesome catch JT, that definitely creates a lot of noise when the train crosses the diamond! At night that'd probably scare the daylights out of ya lol. And 117 cars trailing.
You got that right!
cool csx oil
pretty cool.
clunk ed de clunk ed de clunk, lovely sound to send you to sleep
