Just a tip, if you look at how and where exactly smaller lungfish/fry live in the wild is normally very dense overhanging or aquatic vegetation or fallen piles of branches they want somewhere to nestle into or hide around. I never felt mine was skittish but I had a lot of cover when he was little. Now he still does just on a larger scale. He's loves to roost under it but like yours isn't at all skittish.
Oh yeah! actually today I added in a lot more plants for that shady overhang cover but I think some more wood could help. Thank you for that mate! Always love talking to you about lungfish!
@@BodgieFromStraya that's great dude, Try some hornwort out. Should take up your nitrate issue and grow identical to your milfoil Tones of options though. Mine always liked the bolbotis/Anubis on the log as it over hanged and made a 'cave'
DUDE! its low-key scary haha, are you a part of the building team or something? how do you know haha. I've gone to film however right now they decided my fish room is the best place to store all the tiles for the house so its a bit hard to film anything lol. Once the room is free a video is coming up for sure
The barramundi were rehomed after a period of time. I've found that its a pain to raise them up from baby size because they almost always have some sort of internal parasite. When its just 1 or 2 as well they are super shy. I think if I did keep barramundi again in the future I would wait to find some at a 10 - 15 cm size minimum and go from there.
Native Australian tank ❤
Sounds like a plan!
