I loved you’re working in a notebook because It’s less intimidating than a canvas, for me, you use simple and easy to find materials, you made mixed media aproachable to me. I appreaciate it.
@@micheleholdenart Well, I've been painting all my life. I am actually a high school art teacher so this is my life. I love mixed media and I love the idea of keeping things together to see the progression of a place for inspiration.

I had been wondering which approach you would take to get out of the "Earth and Sky" mindset, although there seemed to be no end to the variations you were achieving in that series! On a different note, my forays into gelli plate printing have been entirely hit and miss. Would you consider doing a tutorial type video on how you achieve such successful results? I know that there are a lot of tutorials already on RUclips on this topic, but somehow when you explain things, I can actually follow along as you explain the process so succinctly!
Yes, this is true! I will get back to those soon. I also find Gelli plate printing tricky but still want to experiment to make more interesting collage papers. I also want to make more tutorial type videos about my art process. They are coming soon!

Might be my favorite! You got me to move off the couch where I create with smalls (slow stitch, junk/art journals, drawings) onto my table where I had been making painted papers. Used my heat gun for the first time. Just, wow. I’ll post my small collage @genieartyology. 🙏🙏🙏
