I was not born in 1998 I was born in 2005 making me 19 at the time of making this comment however, being a guitar player MxPx was the band that introduced me to Skate punk and made me want to be in my own band. This was 10 years ago, and to this day I cover MxPx songs all the time in my band and they are still a massive part of my musical life.

@@frarfarf it was def bundled with tour dates so you likely could’ve saw an extended headline set of their usual on the dates surrounding this performance
I remember back in the day when these guys first started.. they were bullied a lot because they were religious by other bands and the people at the shows to see the other bands.
Probably the only video of them playing "Get with it" that exists! haha. They probably only knew how to play it since they had just recorded the album.
He forgot to pack it the night before, so he rushed and just brought the essentials. Lol It’s amazing the sound you can get and achieve from just the bare minimum, depending on the style of music your playing. True drumming skills and technique. 🍀
1998 was a good year. I was 17 and MXPX was blaring through my stereo system quite a bit. Love the 90s, the last great decade.
17 in 1998 as well. Such a great time!

Such a great idea to set up the recording right behind the drums. Perfect balance. Chef kiss.
this is around the time my big bro introduced me to these guys I was like 9 or 10 and they have been my favorite band ever since I'm almost 29 now 🤙🤙🤙
A friend’s older brother introduced me to MxPx in 1999 when I was 12! Here we are 21 years later 🤘🏼

The vocals are shot, but yeah it's cool
Ah, 90s shows, where you are always stuck awkwardly waiting in front of everyone for ten minutes while the sound person gets ready.
House shows are still like this tbh
it's great, gives you a chance to piss out all the beer you drank before the pit starts
Wow that crowd went wild!
Thanks for the post!!!!
