- Just completed the installation of a 2019 Uconnect 4c radio from a Dodge Ram in my 2006 Dodge Magnum (2013 Charger swapped). It’s a non-nav unit, which is ok since I prefer to use the Waze app for my navigation needs.
I will be doing a more detailed install video later in case anyone is interested or considering doing this swap in a 2011+ Dodge Charger. Shout out to Dubb Sanchez for taking the lead on this and letting us know this swap was even possible.
Does the drive modes button work . Does it put up cosmetically?
Do you need active suspension for drive modes?
Can you plz drop link to the harness adapter i need to complete this.
I made my own. Contact Dubb45 (Pedro Sanchez). He has a channel and is also on Instagram. He sells harnesses for this swap.
How did you make it ? & ive already talked to him he isn’t taking orders yet & don’t know when he will. Uconnect just been laying around.
@@davontecopeland8224 I picked up a donor dash harness from a wrecked 2015+ charger and spliced it to my 2013 harness.
If you’ve installed aftermarket car stereos then you can handle this.
eBay may have a dash harness but they get pricey.
Bet. Good looks 💯
And how did you get the push to start to work ?
I swapped the entire wiring harness from a junked 2013 Dodge Charger which has push to start. Everything was swapped from the donor. Engine, trans, dash, wiring, seats etc.
there will be more videos how to do it?
I didn't follow up on this mod because pretty much everything on how to do this swap is already on the internet. 2015+ is the easiest while 2014 and older is going to be a lot of work.
@@mag-manic12 I live in Poland, I haven't found the videos you wrote yet, but could you write what I would have to change in 2013 to change everything and make the gear shift paddles work and all that?
@@ArturTomasik-h6l 2015+ BCM and RF hub. New RF hub will require new keys. Also the wiring is different. You will have to reroute some wires or swap out for 2015+ harness. I had to get the wiring diagrams from alldata.
What about the reversing camera, BLIS system and parking sensors?
@@ArturTomasik-h6l If you have a donor parts car, everything will swap over, otherwise you will need to get familiar and proficient with AlfaOBD programming and add it one at a time.
This is not a simple modification. Unless you have a donor parts car, this is a lot of work. A lot.
how did u do the harness swap?
I picked up a donor dash harness from a 2016 charger at my local pick a part. It does requires some modification.
Also Dubb Sanchez/ Dubb 45 on RUclips/Instagram sells modified harness kits for this swap.
@@mag-manic12 do u have an email I can get ahold of u at
Was it a struggle to do the dash and harness swap ?
@@YrnDarren I completely stripped the interior of the magnum…Seats, carpet, door panels, dash, engine, trans, rear diff.
Then I started to install of the 2013 donor parts. It’s a 7 out of 10 as far as difficulty. The doors wiring requires a bit of modification and some creativity. The rear lights also requires some work and creativity. Having ALLDATA helped out a lot.
