It capture like everything with KoRn. The scratchy screaming guitars, the haunting melodies, the ultra sonic pedals, energy from Good God. Coolness from Jonathan and emotions and even scatting
For 3 minutes and 53 seconds.. I was transported back to 1998 all over again. Good memories from back in those days. Fuck, I remember going to meet KoRn at the KoRn Kampaign in Philly... was me, my girlfriend at the time, and her best friend Sean. I remember waiting in the heat of summer outside for HOURS.. finally getting into the HMV Record Store.. they had Follow The Leader playing on repeat.. and the 3 of us were overcome with excitement knowing were we going to meet our favorite band for the first time... What made this stand out to me was.. we were rocking out in line and Head saw us! He tapped Munky on the shoulder and pointed to us!! They were watching us! lol. Could have been thinking "Check them out!" OR... "Look at those dorks!" lol.. I don't really know.. but it was a great feeling either way! I was on cloud nine that day.... when we finally got up to the table where they were.. Head and Munky let us take pictures with them. To this day.. that remains as one of the greatest days of my life. It's magical what music can do... hearing and seeing this performance just transported me back to that moment in time. Thank you for posting this video. Fuck, I love KoRn... Been a fan since 1994 and I will be a fan til the day I die! :)
kornfreak78 I was born in 1988 so I didn't really listen to KoRn before 2003. Well that was a long time ago but I missed the early days when they got big.. Their first 3 records were the best in my opinion..
Jody Nuckols - Ha! Hell yeah I do. Man, talk about a blast from the past! I miss the old AIM/ICQ days! Telling ya man, late 90's the early 00's was the greatest of times. I think back very fondly on those days.
TheInternet Sucks - Hey man, nothing wrong with becoming a fan in the ealry 00's. I know a lot of fans from bands in general always give fans that haven't listened since the beginning a hard time, but i've quite literally never been that way. Hell, I don't even care if someone becomes a fan 2 weeks ago, my thought? A fan is a fan, ya know? I mean it sucks that ya missed out on the early days. It was a magical time back then. It really was. Watching KoRn get bigger and bigger, until Follow The Leader exploded on the scene and their popularity just went through the roof. It was definitely an awesome time back then. But I will say this, I agree with you. KoRn's early albums remains as their best. There is no denying that fact. I was very pleased with their newest album though, The Serenity of Suffering? I really enjoyed that album. To me it was like modern meets old school. Had a very "new" but "familiar" vibe to it. I heard KoRn is again working with Nick Raskulinecz and their new album is due out in March of next year. I'm pretty hyped! :)
I'm always so pleasantly surprised just how top form all these guys are. It's not unusual for bands pushing 30 years together to be average on stage but these guys are just killing it each concert. Incredible. And Jonathan hitting every note, high or low makes me really happy somehow. Just shows how great of a singer he is. I may not be listening KoRn as much as I used to but I couldn't be more proud of them for their continued success. Godspeed 🔥
The quality on this is actually really, really good for a live recording. Also, shout outs to Korn for managing to stay in tip top shape (and alive) for so long, that kind of thing normally plagues these hard rock acts especially but Korn's managed to avoid all that AND stay relevant at the same time.
It's pretty crazy how even live and shot through a camera-microphone the sound-style is so similar to the album. The guitars and drums and everything. - And arguably John is better at his vocals now than ever. He sounds tight. Better than a few years ago. I did see them innn... Whatever year it was that Head was back for the first time... 2015?... 13?... Crap... I forgot... But they were the tightest band I had seen live, and I've seen guys like Iron Maiden, MetallicA, Dimmu Borgir, whatever... The only band that might have been tighter would be Rammstein, but that's a very time-critical band.
After all the years I have been a KoRn fan, I can say that that's one of the greatest performances from them I have ever seen. Love how much Fieldy is into it here! :D
@@koalamusic812 I know right! He used to have great dreads and it looked so great when he was headbanging with his whole body! But ofc he is older and sober now! Back in the day he was so energetic and high as a kite, so no wonder why he was able to do all of that! :D
@@koalamusic812 Yes he started to grow dreads early in his Korn career, it just looks very different as it takes a long time to get long dreads, and i guess he changed the style of the dreads over the years! Getting those huge dreads that he has now, has to be really heavy to have! Haha i wouldn't want to stay close when he headbangs cause it will hit you like a whip ;D
Played 'Follow The Leader' on my walkman (aiwa) all night... Lol... Had to get new batteries every 3rd or 4th day... Aaahhh... Bliss! Wish I could just somehow go back...
I was here for this show, definitely the best experience I've had at a show, the energy was Amazing the the Palladium this night. I just wish I recorded footage as good as you got, good work dude 💀🤘
i was there , i missed them in 98'.. it was EPIC!. they only did 3 shows. i was lucky to have seen it.. everyone always loses there shit when they do blind..everyone sings along.. such a small venue.
Lolll, after this show I told Reggie (Fieldy) how exhausted I was from just watching, and that I couldn’t believe how much energy they had the whole time! He said “hell yeah and I’m almost 75 years old!!!!!” LMAOOOO
This song should be played a lot more at their concerts
It capture like everything with KoRn.

I think it may be one of their more challenging songs for them to play live. I think they should play Dead Bodies Everywhere more often
@@tobias7517BBK is a heavy song but underused 😢
His scatting is legendary!

B.B.K. sounds great played live. I could just imagine being there,
My favorite Korn song. This sounds amazing to this day
no words can describe how awesome is this
mikeekorn amen brother it’s like being back in 1998
On Fire!!!!! This tour should be recorded and released on DVD 📀
With Nothing Underneath It’s no tour just a show :(
Better not have fieldy in the behind the scenes footage saying stupid shit
@@ted__ryan Fieldy is annoying on who then and now.
@@dirknowitzki3891 But his bass sound is better than him

Sobriety definately shows! They rock out and Jon doesnt sound out of breath like he used to its great
Oh they are definitely firing on all cylinders. Their newest album is phenomenal and their live shows have been great.
@@tmntchad I really wanna see them live again. Maybe if they tour Eastern Europe sometime after their next release..🤔
20+years of experience, better gear(monitoring environment), off hard drugs = better live sound.
Wow. I can't believe it's been 20 years since FTL was released. I feel OLD
almost 24 years now august 18th will be its 24 year anniversary
25 years now, it's a quarter Century old LOL! 😖
BBK, Justin and Seed should really be on regular rotation on their set lists. Such a great album
My Gift to You as well, but I feel like that song might be in the same category as Daddy, where JD just doesn't want to sing that on a regular basis
Kudos to Jon for giving a top notch performance despite his wife's recent passing.

Ughh I miss David bruh this guy is just sum else and I love that dance jon does at the beginning of bbk
They still got it 💯
I still love this album
I have to admit Follow the Leader was the best album in the world
I agree more
Meh, not really.. but I will say that crisp snare sound is one of my favorites

KoRnBaKo i was gonna say that too and i have seen a whole lot of performances...it seems like they have been recharged on this tour!
This might be the most flawless performance from Korn, ever
My all time favourite band been listening to them since 96 I was 11
William Tarr me too since I was 10 in 98
I love how Head is going crazy like it was 1998 at 2:21

This new drummer is good but David had a groove you just can't replace.
Tommy Munoz at this point ray has been in the band almost as long as david was
I would agree there. Ray is not playing grooves like David. Fully agree.😄
Always some fuckboi maknig comments about new vs old,. STFU and enjoy that Korn is still around and playing bitch...
