One of your exercises is definitely one I use often. It's the ankle rotations. But there is one difference in how I do it, at least most of the time. I will sometimes do them slowly, as you suggest, just to get the movement smooth. Yet I also like to do them as fast as I can until the muscle is tired, in order to build the fast twitch muscles. I want to get the muscles to feel the movement as natural. I'll also occasionally do movements along the lines of the ankle sway, along with stretches like the plantar flexion, and various similar movements you show.
In addition, there is a traditional Chinese exercise. It's simply walking on the sides of one's feet. I've been doing that for years, combined with stretching my ankles in all directions. But I've also been doing a combination of soccer, hacky sack, and running since I was a kid. I can roll my ankles while sprinting and neither fall down or hurt myself. It's the combination of strength and flexibility. Of course, it takes at least years to build that. Plus, I have the bone structure and strength already from early life, which can't be grown later in life.
By the way, another traditional Chinese exercise is walking backwards to build different muscles around the leg joints. One can get added benefit by doing it up stairs. It reminds me of an exercise we did in soccer practice. We'd sprint up a short hill backwards. Besides strengthening muscles and joints, it increases one's forward speed. It's also training the body to move in different ways. I've combined this with my wind sprints. Doing some forward, some backward, and some sideways. To do this, you need a flat, open grassy area.

Thanks for providing these tutorials. I'm enjoying my Sole Mate. I would like to know, in the last exercise at 14:40+, are you placing the foot on the ground or slightly hovering? And, when you come back do you drag the toes along the ground? I am doing this (hovering and dragging toes on the ground), but it's a bit tough (tight). Maybe I just need to work on it more?
