Here I am sitting in front of my computer with an aquarium on the left of me, one on the right as well as one behind me. Turned on your video and it suited so well lol! Really nice video and great choice of music for it. Every fish I saw in there are local fish here in Ontario. What province/state are you in?
It smells because when it rains, gasoline and oil fall into the water. You can make your own algae water by adding small pieces of catfish to water (or using algae water from say a chinese restaurant that has a turtle pond), let it grow, and add leaves later. Also later add soil and gravel (small amount). This is for personal drinking and use the 6.5 gallon plastic big mouth bubbler from Northern Brewer, and keep it outside in the sun, but bring it inside when rains. Also, I have a bubbler, and might put a filter in it at night. Doesn't have any fish in it. Also, don't drink from an aquarium because fish food has ultra high levels of vitamin A to make their color pretty, that's why I initially feed the algae with cooked catfish from the butcher (no salt from the butcher catfish vs. frozen)
with the stripes? yeah, looks like the one... these are common fish spieces in local lakes here, I took my diving gears for a test to one of near by and decided to make a video after... it's amazing how life is organized underwater even in these small ponds and lakes...
i have a pond on my neighborhood full of bass and catfish. would love to go bug them now that is winter ans they are dozing. what do you use to move the camera around? an RC submarine?
i wish :) a simple pole with camera plate and underwater housing, this video was filmed with my old zs15 panasonic camera... any action cam with a stick will do... as long as you can see the fish and not spook them.
Is that a natural garden pond, it looks like it, I built myself a garden pond not so long a go and I have a frog living in it already, I also have frogs in my other pond which is a number of years old which I also built that myself I love my ponds
i want to snorkel local ponds but here in Florida we have a bit more to worry about what is swimming with us. Also all the ponds around here are filthy and probably disease ridden.
you don't have to swim, if you want to get underwater foootage, just get the housing for your camera and make a pole from PVC pipes... as you can see in video, its very interesting and lots of fun.
J Reaper - you are blessed with amazing fresh water springs in central Florida that are crystal clear! I swam and paddled and windsurfed with gators many times and they never paid any attention to me. I have heard to be careful during mating season but I don’t know when that is and I was usually in Florida during the winter months. Get active and try to stop Florida allowing phosphorus farm runoff, manure, sewage treated water and industrial wastes from flowing into your lakes and rivers! That will allow those spectacular waterways to recover. In Wisconsin, where I live we have the same issues where farming and paper mills are present. Get to the North woods and the lakes are crystal clear!
Beyond The Water Surface - very nice video sir! I grew up in Grand Cayman in the 70’s and dove with my parents who were both underwater photographer,s using Nikonis & ecktachrome slides etc, 😆 I assume you are using a nice dslr in a housing for your footage? I no longer have high end cameras but I like my Go Pro Hero Black (2 years old). I would like to shoot video & stills in the multitude of clean ponds in Minnesota. Have you tried using a Go Pro for this before? I only have the standard lens it came with. Any advice regarding the depth of field and when I need to consider adding aux lighting? My goal is to find clear water, sunny mid-day lighting and warm August-September temps so the fish are active. Thanks!
Yeah...compare our oxygen and pump system i dislike...you know why...the fish like a natural system because look at all fish in pond here are not stressfull...
you pond ecosystem must be perfectly in balance to have that many bluegill and green sunfish, thanks for posting this,it really made my day.
never tired up with watching those beatiful creatures fly in crystal clean waters
+isme eiger sure isyou eiger

Really nice video and great choice of music for it. Every fish I saw in there are local fish here in Ontario. What province/state are you in?
thanks! I am glad you like it. This is a state of NY, we have a lot of lakes and parks here, all fish here are common, sunnies, perch, pikes and bass
Certainly not a lake suffering from acid rain! Plenty of life there. I did not notice any pike in the video. I did see some bluegill as well.
yeah, pretty healthy lake, pikes are not in this video, but I've seen them.
Dave Brittain - you should place your screen or monitor next to the tank and play the video for your fish to watch.
You are so correct , i did a video on this very feeling with aquariums... nice video..
What is the fish at 1:00 with a black line across it?
+Little Quail could be a reqular lake minnow with a rest of perch stock.
That was awesome! :D
how can you captured that beautiful view underneath without distract them?
I love it......
beautiful! thats what i wanted to see :)
thank you!
That song sounds like Our Hearts will Go On from the Titanic
I took some lake water and added to my new aquarium so it can support life! And it does, just that it does it too well lol ;)
Also smells like pond

I think the most common fish in North America is the Bluegill. From Canada to Mexico..everywhere coast to coast.
They called sunnies here))
What are the fry at 1:04? Nice video BTW!
In which country and in which province/state is this pond located?
Is it a natural pond or an artificial one? What is the name of this pond?
Is that a Redfin Perch at 4:57?

very nice!
thanks
Can i ask what camera you are using?
that camera is too old to get today, but any point-and-shoot Lumix or Canon cameras with a housing nowdays can do that
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. I will look into them.
Great😍😍
Oh man, that is cheating 😂. It is an outdoor pond.❤
yes
