You are precise in your work and decisions. Glass workers all need to have the patience and to learn this skill and their projects will fit on the first try. Enjoy your style. TY

Absolutely beautiful work Bill. Thanks SO much for your videos and beautiful designs. I never realised you could sand the solder points to make them smoother! Thanks again. Impeccable! ❤

Hi Rachel, Take a look at the first video I made called Leaded Glass Solar Lantern for Beginners. It has a lot of info on making Leaded Glass Projects. It shows a list of tools and how to use them, talks about stretching the lead came, Solder, Flux, glass cutters and more. The project is a great one to start with, all straight cut glass and not too big of a project to get started on. Please feel free to ask any questions about my video projects, I will be more than happy to see if I can come up with an answer for you. Welcome to the wonderful world of Leaded Glass!!! I have been doing projects for the last 55 years, all the way from these little projects to large Leaded Glass and Copper Foiled window projects. You can see some of these projects at the end of the video on how to make the Leaded Glass Clock video. Check them out when you have some time. Best of luck on your projects. Regards, Bill Stone
Hi Car Guy, So glad you're enjoying the leaded glass projects, they have been fun sharing them with others. This is a great project, not for everyone, need to have some knowledge of lead glass because of all the moving parts to it. I have been making these solar lanterns for the past 25 years, just about the same time the first lawn solar stakes came out. We lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ and had a lot of sun so it was a perfect fit to make these leaded glass lanterns. I see you are a car guy; I also was into cars big time in the early 50', and 60's. I lived in southern California and that was the HOT BED for hot rodding at that time. We had several drag strips, and lots of great streets with little to no traffic on them in those days. Street racing was big at almost every stop light. At Lions drag strip they used a stop light hung over the start line to start the race. Thanks for your reply, again glad you're enjoying these videos. Please feel free to ask me anything about them. Regards, Bill Stone
Hi to my friend in Turkey, so nice to hear from you. So glad you liked the video, it's a long one and has lots of pieces to it. You can make it, just go slow and work on one section at a time. You can always make it smaller, maybe just 3 sided and put just one planter packet on each side. Again, thanks for your kind words, I'm working on another one right now and should have it posted by the end of this week. Keep an eye out for it!! Regards, Bill Stone
Hi Cathy, The solar lights I have been using are by Maggift on Amazon, 12 Pkg for $23.30. Free shipping!! Also, remember we are just using the tops of these solar light stakes, you just give them a quarter turn and they come off the plastic lens. Glad you liked this project, it's a lot of work but makes a real nice one of a kind gift. Regards, Bill Stone

Beautiful! Where do you get the solar light from?
I just saw some on ebay. ☀️👍🏻
