- It’s time for a thought experiment - how well can Rhett and Link predict the other’s actions? In this episode, Rhett and Link are given some pretty out there scenarios, posing the question, what would the other one do? From Rhett planting a false memory into the minds of others to Link finding an ET-like alien in his backyard, these outcomes get pretty wild!

love this format its almost perfect i think the only thing that could possibly improve this is making it so that their hands arent constantly cutting into each others shots but then again i usually play video games or cooking and have the podcast on the corner of my monitor or on my iphone and only occasionally glance at the video

I thought Rhett would come to GMM and freak his autopilot self out how impressive he (Link) had become. Beating himself In darts and using his weird logic in the food categories to win as Link and people would be mind blown like: How did this happen for Mr. Neal? And does anyone else notice how Link behaved and talked like Rhett Is this some sort of prank? - And they would never talk about that episode again and It would forever become a Good Mythical Mystery..

I do like being able to see their facial expressions so clearly with this format but the hands jumping in and out of each others frame is way more distracting and odd looking than the close ups are helpful tbh.
I know they've said they like this camera set up but I feel like they've maybe overlooked the hands thing.

If I was Rhett, in Links body...I would go through the day doing things purposely un-Link-like to freak out his family. Like, shower in an order that was opposite of what Link would do. I think Alf, though obviously derivative of E.T., is quite a different case. Because Alf's species WAS the dominant/sapient life form on their planet, he was just a military pilot. He didn't have an occupation where he had the expertise to know about how to travel deep space and whatnot.
Am I the only one who doesn't like the new editing style? It's not a big deal since I usually just listen to the video but I much preferred the wide shot cuz it looked like they were facing each other rather than us.
I think in the first scenario, “link” could do stuff only rhett can for the video, like maybe recite rhetts fav songs without messing up, or play shuffleboard accurately
The way to make the Bahamas trip memory viable is for it to be known that it was done at great cost from a secret deal Rhett made. So that it couldn't happen again.

I really hate the dividing line. The hands moving in and out of frame are really distracting and it just feels so artificial. When it is in one shot it feels far more disconnected. It feels nore like a zoom call then two people sitting next to eachother. The wide angle shot (10:34) is much better and i wish that they would just stick with it like they used too.
