💜 Thank you for watching my video: Scared of Stalling At Traffic Lights? NEVER STALL At Traffic Lights
Passed my test yesterday at the first attempt, just wanted to give a massive thanks to you as i feel you go under the radar more than other channels, but your demonstrations and explaining really helped me out. Thank you brother.
Thank you so much and congratulations on your pass. Yes we are slowly but surely getting noticed thanks to people like you!
I agree never need to rush even on your driving test it's not a race or a challenge it's how to be a safer driver simple
How about geting revs first before biting point? Because sometimes you hardly feel biting point without gas in the background
That doesnt damage the clutch?
Yes that helps
@@Proxzits for a short amount of time a second or two so it won’t but if you were on a hill and are trying not to roll back while adding gas and having it on the biting point then the clutch will wear
0:52 was my exact problem everytime i drove.. thanks for the tips
No worries
thank you so much for your videos each video is exactly what i need help with.😄
You are so welcome! Are you learning to drive?
@@ZONDOdriving yes i have my test in a month time
I had a lesson 2 days ago, 10 hours worth of lessons in and i still had this issue, including at roundabout entries, its as though you knew i had this issue😂
Ive passed my test about 2 months ago but i still get so pressured and try to rush at traffic lights. I start to overthink the bite point then and move off too slowly or jerkily. Need to try and forget about people behind me
this was vary helpful
Glad it was helpful
Thanks ❤
So the best way to move off smoothly is biting point first then press the gas, not gas first then biting point🤔 even on a hill?
Yes, it's the easiest way and you're also less likely to stall that way or roll back.
@@ZONDOdriving Understood thank you 🙏
Which type of camera do you use and how is it set up for that angle?
Still struggling with hill start don't know what I'm doing wrong I really dont
Set gas first to a decent rpm before raising clutch to a weak bite point (if you have a strong bite point you might stall), then drop hand brake and raise the clutch slowly whilst giving gas at the same time
@@kizzy8081 thank you
Practise practise practise. Speak to your instructor, and explain the issue. I am sure the instructor will provide you with an adequate training.

If i’m first at the traffic lights i just put it in gear and put the handbrake up
Thank you so much for the lessons mr. zondo.!!
I have a question that maybe you can address?
My garage driveway is on a slight downward slope. When entering there is no issue, but when exiting, I stop with my front wheels on the road and the back wheels on the driveway as I wait for an opening.
I switch to first gear and start to release the clutch. My logic tells me that being already on a downward slope, the car will start "falling" or rolling forward as soon as I lift my foot from the brake, but instead it starts to reverse?!
So I need to add gas as if I were going uphill, but that makes the exit a bit to fast for my liking.
Why could this be?
Please excuse my terminology if it is incorrect, I am not British.
Thanks again!
If it starts to reverse it means that part of your car is on a downhill slope. To avoid this, just make sure you have the biting point before trying to move forward. As for going to fast, this will be controlled by the clutch and not the gas. As you're moving off, the clutch controls how fast you go.
Love the squidward socks
😅 🙌🏾
Just a quick question i have always been told i will fail if the handbrake isn't on when at the front of the traffic lights? This is apparently if you get rear ended and pushed into oncoming traffic the handbrake will stop that from happening?
Not true. Handbrake is optional
My biggest fear
With a bit of practice, you won't fear it anymore.
When I add gas while bringing my clutch up , my car rolls back ☹️ (not on a hill). Is the clutch supposed to be up to a certain point before I add the gas?
I’m having the same issue :(
It's because you haven't got the biting point. It's easier to have the biting point first before going for the gas. That way you don't roll back. Have a look at this: ruclips.net/video/gg1O5wwDK3c/видео.html

@@ZONDOdriving I think what’s confusing is that when I watch your videos , it does not seem like you wait to first get the biting point first and then go to add gas. It looks like you are simultaneously releasing the clutch adding gas - which is how I end up rolling on a flat surface when I attempt that. I would like to perfect this skill as there are areas where I drive where I need to move off quickly and getting to the biting point and then gas either makes me slower or I end up stalling due to being scared about how quickly the traffic is moving around me.
@@ZONDOdriving I figured it out a couple of days ago so seeing your msg now gives me reassure! Tysm - these vids are so helpful!
