Awesome video great job!! For future reference it might help to put the axle shaft in to keep the fork tubes aligned after reinstalling each tube before tightening the mounting nuts.

Do you change the old seals with new ones when you do this?

2022fltrxs. The back is the Legendary Revoa. The front has been replaced with a 21-inch wheel. I want to lower it by an inch, and I want a better suspension than now. Could you please recommend.

And the axle spacer is directional as indicated by the lines toward the outer side of the spacer!

Question, I upgraded the 22 road glide front wheel to 21 inches and changed it to axeo21 (0414-0543). I also added 13.5oz(400cc) of the fork oil with screamin' eagle heavy. My weight is 80kg and my wife often rides in the back, so I installed the pre-load by turning it around once. However, even if I ride alone, if I pass through a slightly deeper manhole, I get a shock as if the front cartridge is pounding. Is this right?

That is correct. You have the preload set for an additional rider. When you ride solo, it's way stiffer than it should be for you.

Great video. Did you install the standard or 1" lowered Legend AXEO front suspension?

So you don’t need to separate the fork from the stansion?

i was wondering the same thing.. all other videos ive seen them take them apart and replace fork seals

@@steschs10 I contacted legends regarding this. They stated it was not required unless you wanted to replace your fork seals. Hit them up! Mine was referencing a 21 road glide.

It’s a good idea to swap seals and bushings while do this job in my opinion

Using impact tools to tighten and not using torque wrenches, ouch! Hopefully just for this video!

12” on the rear is a waste of money, the ride sucks. Always do 13” legends on the rear of street glides or road glides. Usually standard spring is also best for the rear legends. Anytime you can increase travel without raising the height , you got a winner setup! Not my opinion, talk to legend.

You lost me when you used an impact to tighten down the fork tube…

I put my shocks on but no way I would do the fork kit. I would leave to the pros.

Big mistake lowering! You need more travel, not less! Wtf
