Thanks! The f5c is certainly a better plane pound for pound than the f4e so don’t be discouraged at first. Stock to spaded takes quite a while! Good luck and enjoy it when you get it.
I've found that if you hug the ground, it's a little easier to avoid radar missiles. Also, boom and zoom across the battlefield, don't bother getting into a turn fight, because it usually doesn't end well if it's just you and an enemy. and if you have an enemy on your tail, fly towards your teammates coming at you, and they will do the rest. Good video dude!
First, genuinely curious why your speed and alt are imperial yet you use km for distance. Second, having just gotten the F-4E, while it's pretty cool to have gotten my first missile kill without actually seeing the jet, (took so long I thought it must've locked chaff or something, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got a kill from it) most of my matches have been full uptiers to 12.0. It's actual pain. In a downtier, it's pretty decent, even at 11.3 with the F-4S in game now. Not the best, but manageable. I'm glad I got a talisman for the F-5E, as it's downtier to 10.7 has been great for me.
and so.... do u use the auto bombing with the base selector in simu, and how do you use the ath to see where the selector base as?.... doesn't work on my plane. always have a circle without disignation on the ground.... help ?!
I grind this plane with f5c( which is way better ). This planes' radar system is garbage! It need to reworked if they would keep it at 11.0 .It doesnt have look down so you cant lock to enemy below from you and almost every of your enemy ll head on to you from 4-5 km after they sens that you cant turn sharp. - 4 G for wing break makes you to carry lower weights (so think twice to carry bombs.)4x 9j missiles is the only upside but if you can get the back of the enemy with same or better mac. U ll face with 14As at high alt. (which can send from 20 km ) and face with mig 23s at lower alts. ( which can send head on missiles and can turn better almost every engage )almost every match . I grind this plane for CAS (which is great) and I suggest you not to go for it, if you plan to play it at Air RB. It might have been good at the time it released but it is one of the worst at top tier now... I m 99 level player btw, do not think that I m premium jet player :)
hey @applecore101, I have an issue when using the AIM 7E2 Sparrows, for some reason I am unable to radar lock the enemy plane when I am playing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but would it be possible to share your control setup for using radar locking weapons, AGM's and other such things? Also im new to top tier and would like to learn how to be better

It’s always enabled :) all you have to do is: 1) equip bombs to your jet 2) Select your bombs with your weapon selection keybind (this is not bound to anything by default I highly recommend binding it if u haven’t) 3) Pitch your jet ~10° nose down or lower and it should appear
@@applecore101 the way I’ve been doing it was going supersonic to the base at a low altitude and than I used the airbrake to slow myself down to about Mach 0.92 and drop my bombs and sometimes it’ll actually destroy the base

I remember when this was introduced, and my friend had one about a week later. This is still my favorite plane in the game, even if not viable.
Playing F4E is like being a Hyena.

I always get that one sparrow mug 21 kill at the beginning of each match. With flares the sparrows are much better Thant the Js.

@@GamerKahn You need a keybind for lock radar, Ive set mine to both Q and R, r being ACM mode while Q being BVR

every game i go to with it i face F-16 and tomcat , do i continue with it or not
It is seriously at a disadvantage against those planes. I really can’t recommend you fly it right now with this match making.
First mistake don’t bring bombs 95% of time u won’t make it bring full load out of mighty mouse
