I didn't realize before how much in my life the LORD was.......when I see a rainbow after a weather, it reminds me of the Creator, HE is my Father, and so, I am alone on earth, close to how Jesus was, how could any understand what He knows or went through. First song on my heart waking up this morning, I remember feeling Jesus was saying this to me back in high school when Jon was singing, now I realize I must have felt that so strongly (even though I had prayed to receive Jesus earlier I think at 13 but didn't understand Lordship of Christ, relationship, and the kingdom of God really though) because Jesus was calling out to my best friend too, it makes sense why Jesus has been showing up strongly for me definitely since I was putting prayer requests in. I remember a prophetic word that my high school principal Brenda gave me in I think middle school--Michelle, my Michelle, how easy it is to love you for you are a follower of me, I am working in you the grace of love, don't fight My hand, believe in Love not fear, fear is painful, know it, Love is a balm, a Healer for your heart, make the effort to put forth Love, I'll meet you there. He is meeting with me so much now, because so many believers have shown me Christ's love, I didn't want to be crazy anymore so in desperation for feeling better, I decided to ignore Jesus, less and less. I really feel right now that those prayers for me were meant for the best spiritual friend in my life now also, that really makes the most sense. Thank You Jesus, I can't thank You enough. All right, I need to listen to Toby and enjoy this beautiful weather!!! Lord please show the way to bring understanding of You and healing to the most hearts crying out as possible!!!
I haven't heard this in years it brought back memories of when I saw you guys in concert as I was waiting in line for your autographs the girl in front of me complimented one of the guitarist's eyes and Jon said to her" Thank you, his wife thinks so too." I liked that, it showed that you guys are not just singing about God but that you're also trying to live for him.

People run from God because they wanna hear what's right with their soul and not enough of what's wrong with their souls. I sued to be one of them;but i stopped running and accepted that i wasn't perfect;and i was a sinner and needed Jesus Christ in ordered to be saved and reserve my place up in heaven. It's never a believer's job to make a believer a believer;it's God the Father's job to reach them and save their souls through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Take care everyone.
people run from god because they're afraid to hear what they've done wrong in God's eyes. So they use their own opinions of what's right or wrong to oppease their inner guilt.
If you don't study the word of god and get taught the word;you can't detect the differences between the two;trust me when i say...been there and done that. But God won my heart over because i studied and believed by faith;and accepted his only begotten son by faith as well. I ts a done deal once you do that with sincerity of heart.

Jess has a real relationship with christ, that's not a religion that is a relationship, there is a difference between the two "R" words, a religion, is following a doctern of man, and rules, or regulations, deeply cultivated in a culture of the belief system of that country... a relationship which Jess has with Christ and God is something that is worked on, just like real personal relationships we have with physical people in our lives, we talk with them, we communicate with them, open up to them when we need to, we show emotions and feelings. People confuse these two words to much and it is misunderstood. I got your back Jess you are doing great, and never let the enemy steal your joy, or your relationship you have with God. I saw them in concert recently amazing!!! First time I saw them live I was in elementary now I'm junior in highschool. It's amazing how long it's been, haven't heard this song in years and it and I remember every word. Plus the singer looks like he has never aged a bit haha :)
These guys have been a good part of my life, and this song speaks such truth. This is what God asks us, why don't you spend time with me like you used to when you found your faith in me? God is just like we are, he wants us to spend quality time with him, talk to him, and enjoy his presence. North Dakota, at one of the bigger party schools. Praise God though, we are getting a Bible study and outreach gropus going, so He is working! Great song. I saw them a SWC 2005 and bought their self-titled album containing "Run". Listened to it over and over again, particularly this track, on a long drive between LA and the Central Coast in summer 2005.
Every band matures with time. Kutless still are great musicians as well as artist. I love all of their styles of music. Keep up the Lord works brothers.

I love this song. Kutless used to be my favorite band. They don't rock any more though, they went soft. No, I am not talking about their lyrics, I am sure their lyrics and the meanings behind their songs are still that which would be expected of Christian singers. But they are no longer rock and roll. They are something softer. I really miss the old Kutless. Their music really got me through a horrible, painful spot in my life. I love listening to their old music. If they would play harder rock again maybe they would still be on the radio. I'm not bitter, I just miss their music. They have so much talent, have made such great music, and Jon Micah has a voice like an angel. Come on, guys, kick it up a couple notches on the next album.

Tell you what, when I got some devastating news in 2009, I was lost, feeling abandoned, like it was the end of the world and there was nobody with me to comfort me...and then Strong Tower came on the radio. I knew I didn't have to bear it alone, I wasn't abandoned. I had never heard of Kutless until that moment, didn't ever listen to Christian music, just happened to have been dialing through radio stations when I got the call. Now I rarely listen to anything BUT Christian music :)

Wow, so much has happened in the year since I left this comment... one thing since then is that I've been steered by the Holy Spirit into seeking spiritual direction - it really wasn't my choice, when it came on me I tried to run...but He had other plans. He selected my spiritual director, He patiently waited for months as I ran, until I ran straight into His arms thinking I was getting away from Him. I didn't want to avoid Him, but I didn't know it was Him...I thought it was my imagination, or worse. The first thing my spiritual director required was that I agree to keeping a Holy Hour of Silence every day, just to sit with Him. I'm finding out how difficult that can be in the busy holiday season, especially since there are also many birthdays in my family at this time, but this song reminds me that there is no better way to spend one hour every single day -- He wants to be with me, He was born for me, He died for me so we can be together forever. When I think of that, no thing on this earth can compare...
Sometimes we get caught up in the moment of everything...like problems, addictions, etc....but God doesn't turn his back on you....you yourself turn your back on him...It's why sometimes we have to challenge difficulties because we don't seek God we want to do it on our own...in the end we can without the help of God...
