I made a 6'7 lock because it seemed to be a sweet spot for speed and being able to guard 1-5 but I had no idea that was the cutoff for catch and shoot being a tier 2 badge. That's a big deal being able to spend 5 pts to get it on gold vs 7 pts, probably nobody is thinking about that making a build
Claymore is a waste. Look at their shooting tier videos. I took it off and I’m stilll shooting 60%+ and I even take moving 3s on my center with agent 3. I’m about 80% on my catch and shoot shots

As a spot up / stretch, imma be using it on HOF still. I find the catch animations that HOF gives are more frequent and provide more space created. Which is honestly more important than any shot boost
Silver now that I am confident in the shooting mechanics. I had to realize I get better catch and shoot animation from passes that from a higher pass accuracy or the passer wasn't under duress. Had to let all the jerky and quirky animation play out.
Can you please test the 3pt made % from 70 to 99 3pt rating like you guys did last year? I'd really appreciate it if the results can be out sometime around the release of season 2
I’ve never been a good shooter on 2k but this year for some reason I’m solid . I have 2 86 3pt build , one is a 6’8 lock I use more and you really can’t leave me Open I also hit faders sometimes . Found out when we got desparate and I’m the only one who can score My other build is a 7ft glass finisher 77 3pt with 17 shooting badges I believe, you still can’t leave me open . I miss a little more but I’d say 77 is still a good rating . If this helps

I was going to scrap my build with 82 three because i couldnt shoot for nothing until i got bronze catch and shoot (its tier 3 for me) now i got it on silver and im a good shooter now. Will still put it on gold once i get the last shooting badge

Is there a way to know know big the green window is with meter off? My guess is no, I ask because a content creator put out a vid with biggest green windows. I asked if he could prove it with clips and use meter, of course he said no and told me not use meter it makes shots harder to green. My questions.. how does he know where the window is then? and is there a no meter boost this year?
Using meter does not in itself make it harder to green. ( i personally find it a bit distracting from my jumper cue) The meter off boost is ~5%. Probably not worth it if you dont know your jumper. The green window isnt really determinable in game per se. You can view the testing results on the 2kLabs website but it doesnt tell you that in game. Learning your jumper cue would be the closest thing to knowing your green window. For example your green window may be from the top of your jumper form until the wrist flicks
Good of this video to confirm my own anecdotal evidence regarding this badge. Shooting really isn't that hard once you've learnt your timing. Badges like volume shooter and agent 3 do the job.

I have acrobat on silver on my 6’9 inside out scorer build and it’s definitely saved me from some contact layups lol. It’s activated for me cs I love to the spin layup it gets the defender 9/10 they don’t expect it and it also boost the success when you attempt a flashy dunk like Mj animation or cradle dunks and the defender is chasing you if you have the pts it’s a good badge to have 🔥

I look at all badge variations between desired PG heights. I had a 6’9 build early because of the badge tiers.

There’s a no meter boost but the green window is based ain’t the release timing from the controller settings

The percentage on the left is the percent of the shot going in/being a green while the millisecond line represents how long the shot button is held
